Large spray field
This sprinkler has a larger field of water stream than I thought it would. I have ordered another now that I know what it can do.

Fantastic Sprinkler
My wife is a full-time home gardener with a half-acre of flower gardens, vegetable gardens, and patio plants. She has tried virtually every brand of watering tool on the market and complains about every one of them. I have boxes full of rejected and defective devices that clog, leak, or simply refuse to work. I'm talking hoses, wands, hand sprayers, lawn sprinklers, quick-connects (brass and plastic), etc. She hates them all. Then I found the German Gardena brand and, on a whim, ordered a sampling of everything they make (assuming I would be returning some, if not all, to Amazon. To my surprise, my wife loves them with a passion. The are so simply designed and constructed, yet work so effortlessly. The quick-connects are a dream (I haven't been called upon to fix one yet). The hoses have built-in connects that are easily replaced. The sprayers always work, never clog and never leak. In summary, the best ever. Leave it to the Germans.

These sprinklers work exactly like I had hoped they would. I am currently seeding a large amount of grass in our lawn. We live on a couple of acres so it is challenging to water the seeded grass multiple times per day. So, I bought two of these sprinklers. They are excellent for watering areas (like seeded gras) sensitive to high pressure water flow. The water sprays out evenly and in a nice fine mist. I also use it for watering our small garden in the backyard, and the trees when necessary. The only complaint (not fault of company) is that they don't perform well in windy conditions. So if you live in a high-wind ares this probably isn't the best choice.

Nice sprinkler, perfect for grass seed
I planted some grass seed and bought this sprinkler to water it. The sprinkler works really well with the seed spraying a nice mist. I just wish it covered a larger area. I consider my outdoor faucet to be of average pressure, but I am only getting about 10-15ft diameter of coverage. May be if I used a hose pipe shorter than 100ft it may be better?? Not a big deal, I just have to move it about 5 times to get coverage on a 900 sq ft lawn. I liked that it came with a quick disconnect connector for the hose pipe.

Got a little more than three years use out of this. This was my first Gardena sprinkler. Have since bought two other sprinklers and two nozzles (plus some garden tools). Figure I about broke even as most sprinklers I had in the past lasted one or two seasons. I really liked the pattern/coverage and flow control, but the gearing finally bit the bullet. One less star as I expected another year or two for the price.

Good affordable solution for watering small areas
I bought this to water my raised bed vegetable garden, which is approximately 10 feet by 15 feet. It does a good job of gently watering with an even, consistent mist which is easy on the plants. The only thing I don't like about it is that there is no means to turn the water on and off at the sprinkler. While there is a quick connect adapter that holds back the water when disconnected, you need to control the water back at the spigot unless you want to get soaked.

Another brilliant piece of equipment from Gardena with a twist
Received this product yesterday and connected it straight away. It turned once. i tried different water pressures with the same result. Being a total fan of Gardena and doubting that this was a dud, I took the sprinkler under closer inspection, also read up a bit. I found the individual sprinkler heads had to be in a certain position duh!! Its now sitting on my new lawn twirling away at exactly the right diameter. SO HAPPY I PURCHASED THIS. CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Nowhere as good as my previous Gardena sprayer.
My previous sprayer of some 20+ years stopped rotating last year and despite trying numerous cleans and fixes continued not to rotate or spray any decent amount of water. We were not in a low water area. So grabbed this latest version, plugged it onto a hose and not a lot happened. Water pressure was very good, but this product was very disappointing. So much so that it was returned back to Amazon the next day and we received a full refund.

Hatte große Erwartungen an den Regner, leider hat sich der Kauf als die größte Fehlinvestition seit Jahren herausgestellt was Regner von Gardena betrifft. Das Teil dreht sich nicht vernünftig, der Reichweitenradius ist auch bei Maximaleinstellung ein Witz. Der gute alte Uraltgardena Regner vom Opa noch, der schmeißt das Wasser viel weiter als der überteuerte Kreisel. Ich zögerte mit dem Rückversand, nun liegt das Teil unbenutzt im Schuppen und ich habe mir wieder einen zweiten normalen Gardenaregner gekauft. Schade ums Geld, rausgeschmissen! Alex
