Great for bathroom decor...
These hangers are great for my bathroom decor, which is a seaside sea shell motif. They seem well made, and appeared to have stainless hooks; which were easy to mount to my sea shell shower curtain. I only counted three different shell designs, so I'm not sure why the picture shows four - but I looked online everywhere and decided it was better to get these here. I'm not regretting it. They look a lot like the real thing, and are very pleasing addition to the decor. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again, but JCPenney dropped them from inventory, so I had to come to Amazon to complete the set. Who knows how long things like this will be on the market?! They are just the right size, and not overbearing as an ornament - very real looking, I might add. The back of the casting makes you thing they are made of plaster, or chalk, but a finger nail test makes me think it is resin.They also came nicely packed in a plastic see through box like they were ready for retail display. I will probably keep the container for my next move.

Good quality for the price, need to be repainted.
The size and quality are what I expected, but the set I got are not as brilliantly colored as the photos. Mine are just a blase brownish and white color with small amount of details able to be seen. Not a huge issue as I can repaint them to have a little more pep. But they definitely are not colored like the photos. I bought them to match some other shell decor I had in the bathroom, and they aren't even close to the other colors. Their quality and functionality work just fine and as expected, just the color being off is the only reason it got 4 instead of 5 stars. Would still order them again for the price, but knowing they would have to be painted.

Nice. With two shortcomings.
If a shower curtain can be classy, this set would help. However, it suffers from two issues, which many others have commented about and you might well assume by looking at the photos. 1. Not slick. These hooks do not slide very well on their own. Some other hooks are assisted by beads, or are made of a more slick material. If you get these make sure you have a slick shower rod. 2. Not secure. They aren't great at staying on the rod. Some other hooks are full loops, or more balanced. I am not inferring that you will be doomed to picking up your curtain before and after every shower, but re-hooking will likely be part of ongoing maintenance. Overall, the pieces are well made and look nice. They do not work for me, but if you don't mind the two points I've mentioned you'll likely be pleased with your purchase.

Hand painted maybe, but all the same color brown.
For what I paid, this was a fair deal. However, the image is deceiving. In the amazon website image, the shells appear to be different colors. The shells I received are all of precisely the same dark brown color. If these shells are hand painted as the packaging says, then they ran out of the other colors. Otherwise, these shower hook shells are nice and compliment the heritage seascape shower curtain nicely. And they glide over the shower rod nicely.

So bought a really nice beachy shower curtain and these hooks and an extra ...
We recently bought a little house on the intercoastal canal. The previous owner was wheelchair bound and the master bath is handicapped ready. We didn't mind the huge open shower but wasn't ready for the huge price to close it in with custom doors and the extra tiling. So bought a really nice beachy shower curtain and these hooks and an extra long rod and our bathroom looks so much better for a fraction of the cost. We still have to work on the vanity and raise the medicine cabinet and light fixture but it is really nice. The hooks are very attractive and well made and affordable.

These are so EASY to install.
We have a beautiful shower done in tile, and stone. I didn't want a glass door, because of having to clean it, and we were having other people use this condo, & couldn't depend on them to keep it clean. So, I bought a clear shower curtain. These hooks were PERFECT!! Easy to install, and look so nice with our shower!

It was not easy but I used duct tape to wrap it loosely ...
So, I put them up and, as I threaded the third or fourth one through the hole in the shower curtain, the hook fell off the shell. I was so angry. As I looked at the rest of the curtain hooks, it was clear that they had all be glued on. I thought about returning them but I tried to fix it with Gorilla Glue. It was not easy but I used duct tape to wrap it loosely so it would stay together over night. It worked. I know what to do if / when it happens again. It looks nice on my ocean themed shower, but be advised that they are not well made.

Very happy with this purchase.
These are great! They're a bit cheap, but I expected that. They're actually really cute and go well with the ocean theme in my daughters' bathroom. I've had them for over a month and they've been exactly what I'd hoped for.
