Great spray system
I originally bought the mighty mite 3 gravity feed system to spray many of my finishes including small latex jobs but after my first experience spraying latex, I decided to up the unit to the mighty mite 4 and I'm glad I did. It sprays with 50% more pressure and really makes a difference in spraying the latex materials but even with that I'd never use it on a large project like bedroom walls. I'd shift to an airless system for the bigger tasks because it's far faster but the airless systems do waste a lot more paint. In getting the Fuji mighty mite 4 I also went from the gravity feed to the bottom feed cup. I changed over to 3M PPS system which I highly recommend. I changed over because for me, a higher volume of paint balances better below the gun versus on top of the gun. On top I had too much wrist fatigue..

Next level quality & performance.
I had used an entry level HVLP with success on thin coatings but it could not lay down smooth paint. With several paint projects in the queue i upgraded to the mini-mite 4 and could not be happier. Build quality, of all components, and power is truly next level. There is a learning curve to the gun, i ended having to remove the in-line strainer, but the finish was flawless. Only complaint is that i could not justify the q5.

very satisfied with purchase!
I have used a few sprayers before. harbour freight that is! this blows hf out of the water! ease of use and easy to clean. it has great control! shooting sw emerald eurathane trim enamel, thinned down a bit with water and combined with the #5 cap 1.8mm needle. i know the q series is to be quiter than the mini mite series but honestly not sure how anything could be quiter than this! super impressed, no regrets with this purchase!!

It Brings Me Joy!
First I will give a background of myself. I have been a hobby woodworker for 30+ years. When it comes to painting – I hate it. I find it boring and I spend too much time trying to get a good finish. Over the years I have tried a variety of sprayers and they never quite lived up to their claims. About 3 years ago I purchased an Earlex 5500 and I started getting some finished that were better than my average. However trying to get the unit to spray certain types of paints was difficult. It involved a lot of thinning. Lots of sanding between coats. They would go on too dry or too wet. The manufacturer stated that it could spray from a tiny line to wide fan. The thin lines were okay – but forget about a fan. It could try – but the unit could never push enough product to paint properly. So I was left with spraying panels with round patterns about 1” in diameter. This of course doesn’t get a good overall coat – its blotchy- and I end up having to apply 5 or 6 coats to get a good finish. The bottom line is that the sprayer I was using just doesn't have the power to do the job. I came across the Fuji line of sprayers while searching videos on how to use the Earlex. I kept watching these guys spray with what appeared to be no effort at all and getting great results on their first path. But still the Fuji is expensive for me, especially for a hobby. To be honest I was also apprehensive after years of trying other solutions. But I kept watching and doing more research. Finally, after a year I decided to buy one. I am very happy that I did. Packaging. I was impressed with the packaging. Inside was a separate box for the compressor and the gun. The hose was wrapped in plastic wrap and that was wrapped again in a softer Styrofoam cloth and then tied together. They took a lot of care packaging that hose and thought that was nice. First Impressions. When you first see this thing – it is really nice. The compressor is heavy duty. Its metal. Its solid. The gun looks really nice. Its metal and aside from some tubing – everything else seems to be metal. Now the hose is something else. This thing is heavy duty also and I can understand the need for the whip hose ! Sound. Based on my research a lot of people complain about the sound. I don’t think it is that loud. It isn’t louder than the Earlex. It just doesn’t bother me at all. Test Use. I decided to test it out with water. I needed to learn how the controls worked, etc. When I pulled the trigger is when I got my first taste of what this thing can do. You can feel the power of this unit when you pull the trigger. Its dramatically different than any other sprayer I ever used. I didn’t spend very long testing it. The learning curve was pretty simple and fast. First Use. I used it to spray some items with a shellac based primer. It had no problems delivering the material at all. I got a great finish on my first try. I was able to set it for a wide fan and I painted (10) 9”x12” boards in less than 30 seconds. I sanded down the first coat – not because of the sprayer – but because the primer raises the grain. The second coat of primer was perfect. No blotchy sections. In fact if I didn’t tell you it was primer – you might think it was painted. Clean up: Cleaning up was pretty simple. It breaks down easily and it isn’t any worse than other guns. My only issue was trying to get the screen at the end of the paint tube cleaned out properly. Painting. When it came time for painting – the first coat went on with no issues at all. Very smooth. Not too dry. Not too wet. Dialing in the proper pattern and paint flow is very easy. You can dial it in very quickly and then you are on your way. At that point things go very quickly. What used to take me 5-6 coats if getting done in 2. Overall- I am very happy with the purchase. I wished I had bought it sooner.

Professional quality and easy cleanup
I like this sprayer the most because of its ability to handle latex, lay it down beautifully, and very easy cleanup. I've used several other "handheld" sprayers where you are carrying the motor and the paint all in the same hand. The Mini-Mite 4 is a dream compared to that.

Awesome gun
This Fujispray is amazing!, we remodel kitchens, and use this gun for spraying the new doors and drawer fronts, we get a wonderful end product, this is faster, spray is wider, turbine quiter then our other Fuji. This is a awesome spray gun, highly highly recommend.

High quality sprayer in a small package
I’m extremely happy with my purchase of the mini-mite 4 platinum with T-model spray gun. The system is made of high quality materials and are extremely easy to use. No more in-line oil/water filters and with the lightweight/compact design I can take this system with me when I’m working away from home. If spraying primer or latex I would highly recommend purchasing the 1.8mm air cap set. I sprayed a diluted kilz primer with the 1.3mm and it didn’t atomize enough to spray consistently, though it did level enough before drying for a primed finish. I look forward to refinishing my cherry bench and cedar green egg table next.

A powerful tool that meet the requirement
The fuji 4 platinum is enough powerful to respond perfectly well to all jobs. I have used latex paint for painting the walls in my basement. The finish is perfect and the work is done at very high speed. I highly recommend this device. #FujiSpray
