Sturdy but catches

Great leash, except that the metal slip ring catches on the nylon leash fabric and so sometimes slips off of dog.

Safety latch broke 32 days after purchasing...

I was very happy with this product, however, the leather safety , adjustable mechanism that keeps the leash from being too loose on the neck broke and is missing. I missed the cutoff to return by 2 days, but hopefully the company can help out with this issue. Otherwise, the leash is good and I am using it for a fearful foster dog, so I really need a new one that won't fall off.

Good quality leash !!

It surprised me when I felt a bit of a stretch on the leash at the beginning of a walk and at the same time relieved that it does not feel like a hard tug on my harm or hand. I have had it for a while and it still looks and feels as new. The dog likes it and so do we so it's a win, win.

Very Strong

This leash is very strong and seems to be very durable. It however is kinda stiff right now (I’m sure it will loosen up as it is used). The fabric is very tight which is good for overall durability, but it is not soft. I have other slip leads for my pup and the material is much softer for her. I think it is a valuable purchase for the money, but I’ll probably keep it in my car as a spare in case I see a stray or something.

Safety

Bought this for my little beagle. It is perfect and I can control him. He slipped his collar with a regular leash while getting his nails clipped. I was sick over that episode. Never again.

Thicker than most

My young dog managed to chew pretty much through it within the first couple of days because he's a k***head so I got a very limited use out of it, probably a couple of weeks as I waited for an alternative. It's a great lead, thicker than most, with nice leather detail. The rope design seems to impact on my dogs breathing (he's a rottweiler that pulls like a train) so I'm trying out different designs/solutions and decided to go with a flat head collar next. That is in no way comment on the quality of this item and when my other dog's lead needs replacing, I will be ordering one of these

Helps with pulling

Use to try to keep my wee dog from pulling me over when she smells rabbits as she won't listen. This works though I use it with a lead and harness as well so I am not constantly pulling on slip lead.
