Good product
Better than I expected the handle seems very durable I have two large breed strong dogs and we are able to regain control or guide them using handle. Fits odd a little tight at the dogs leg.

It's nice! But it didn't fit.
I loved everything about it but it didn't fit my chihuahua, I got a small. He's a bit bigger than a regular chihuahua too.

To big for a small
You can tell it’s a good harness but for a “small” this can fit a full grown dog. My puppy is a small in other brand harness but this one is to big just beware. Still keeping it till he fully grows into it :)

Would probably work for more dog-shaped dogs
We have a large pug named Bruce and were uncertain what size harness to get him. Normally, we get a large coat and it fits but is too long. His harnesses are either medium or large. When we looked at the fitting chart he was close to the maximum for medium and bottom of large. We took a gamble and tried the large we were offered. When it arrived I was quite impressed, it is tough and well made if a little rigid and heavy. There were no instructions but there are leash loops on both the bottom and the top. I originally thought the harness would go badge up but then photos show that the manufacturer’s badge should be on the chest. I also noted there were more reflective strips on the bottom side this way which seemed strange. But since the manufacturer’s photo show badge on the chest, that’s the way I put it on. You can adjust this harness a LOT. You can shorten the straps through the padding to even smaller than the specs suggest. The length was good for Bruce. It didn’t obstruct his tail or droop over his behind like large coats do and, at the lower adjustment, I actually had to loosen it slightly for a comfy fit. We took him for a few walks and really liked how the reflectors worked in the dark, even on a black dog. The only concern is that with his odd pug shape where his head is narrower than his neck we did have a problem with the rigidity of the harness. We liked that it was low and didn’t compress on his throat but it also means that the opening for his head is quite big. The rigid harness doesn’t conform when he pulls backwards and he learned that if he stopped and hunkered back he could with some stubbornness slip himself out of the harness backwards. He never actually escaped, but once he learned the trick he did it repeatedly to the point that walking became frustrating. If he hadn’t found a way to hunch and back half out of his harness we would have liked it a lot. As it is, I think it is better suited to a more ordinary shaped dog with a longer neck and larger head.

Control For You, Comfort for Them
this is a nicely padded harness. The buckles are plastic but so far open easily and shut securely. the interior is padded and lined with mesh minimizing soreness and rubbing. It is adjustable. I liked the fact that there is a ring on the back andone on the chest. Helpful in training. The reflectie piping is quite effective. I have been using it on two dogs.the first, a chow, is a notorious escaspe artistbut walk well on a harness. As she is red the black makes a nice contrast. The second is a younger German Shepherd. I am using this more for training purposes than walking/exercise.the large fits with some room to grow. However it did not fit one of my older shepherds who is a little smaller than the younger one. Although she measured within the range she has a deep barrel chest and it just was awkward on her. but oerall a decent harness that provides control for you and comfort for them.

I can't find a dog it actually seems to fit
This is a very no-frills harness, but seems to be built sturdily enough. It comes without any instructions, and, while it's pretty easy to figure out how to lengthen and shorten the straps, it would be good to hear from the manufacturer how they expect the harness to work best -- should the straps be tight or loose? Should the chest piece sit up on the neck or relax back onto the shoulders? Also, a couple of the pictures show the harness with the little manufacturer's tag on the front of the chest, but it turns out that the harness really needs to be put on with the little tag on the smaller section on the dog's back and the bigger section on the dog's chest. The problem I have is that any dog I've put this on, it seems to "ride up" in the back. The D-ring in the middle of the back pulls the two parts together, so it "hunches" up. When the leash is attached to the D-ring in front, the harness twists around, rather than encouraging the dog to turn as is usually the desire with the front ring "no-pull" action. The visibility of the harness is very good; even on a black dog, the "glowing" trim stands out, even in daylight. The padding is nice -- I don't have concerns about the edges of the straps chafing the dog. but it just doesn't seem to fit very well, so only 3 stars.
