The media could not be loaded. It’s a pretty pattern and great price but then again, not quite the brushed nickel finish I was hoping and looking for. As you can see through my photo (pic collage) comparison, it’s rather different than the Moen brushed nickel finish on our hallway bathroom fixtures. Considering the price, I didn’t think it’d match our Moen brushed nickel fixtures…it didn’t hurt to try though. It’s not always possible to judge from pictures and it doesn’t help when the advertised pictures display different shades from the actual item. Though sometimes, sellers do manipulate pictures, as far as ad pics go, inaccurate images aren’t always the seller’s fault. There are too many variables in photo shooting. Depending on various factors, such as lighting and camera quality, pictures often display rather inaccurate color shades in objects and backgrounds. This wall plate also came with some minor but rather visible scratches. So yes, I’m definitely returning this plate. It would’ve been lovely if only it matched our Moen brushed nickel fixtures. Yes, that was my own wishful thinking there…lol. I’d recommend this plate to those who have fixtures that are more like a bit darker shade of satin nickel finish. The finish on this plate does NOT match the brushed nickel finish on Moen fixtures, which I also purchased here on Amazon. Just because it didn’t work out for me it doesn’t mean that this is a bad quality item and that it won’t work out for other buyers. It’s not a bad quality item…it’s actually very good for the price. As far as the finish goes, it all depends on what shade of brushed nickel that you are looking for! I purchased lots of this same plate pattern in oil brushed bronze and all came in beautiful and shiny OBB finish, except the 2-toggle light switch plate, which was dull and rough compared to the finish on other plate formats of the same pattern. I’ve no idea why but I guess this manufacturer has issues with the 2-toggle light switch plate finish?? At least, this has been the case for me on all the 2-toggle plates that I bought in this pattern and in two different finishes: oil brushed bronze + brushed nickel. One thing is for sure: even my pictures don’t quite show the true difference between this plate finish and the finish of our Moen brushed nickel bathroom fixtures. Also, I didn’t find other wall plate formats on this pattern design in brushed nickel. The other plate formats are only sold in satin nickel, which is not the finish I need. It’s impossible to get a full set of wall plates in the same finish and pattern while sellers only sell different wall plate formats but not all come in the same finish! What good is it to have a 2-toggle light switch plate in brushed nickel while all other wall plate formats only come in satin nickel?? That doesn’t make any sense. I haven’t been able to find reasonably priced wall plates in actual brushed nickel finish here on Amazon. I guess I’ll have to look elsewhere. Best wishes and “good luck” to all Amazon shoppers who are looking to buy same design set of wall plates in actual brushed nickel finish!!!

EXTREMELY well made and ATTRACTIVE plate
I bought several of these as my go to plate, both switches and outlets, when I want just to have the copper look throughout my house, but don't want an arty piece or the arty price. Turns out they are kind of arty in a muted, pleasantly understated way. They are not shiny; and the softness of the copper is good against the dark of the design. I don't tire of it and they are all over my house along with the ones with oil paintings and animal depictions in copper. This plate is a SUPER good value and VERY well made with a nice long screw. Quality item. Highly recommend.
