Broke the day we installed it

I bought this basket for my kitchen and we placed it above my countertop. It didn't fall, but one of the chains holding the baskets completely broke and we weren't able to use it anymore. It's very pretty and I was excited about it, but save your money and buy a sturdier hanging basket.

"THIS IS MY 2nd ONE"

I have say I had to have this red one. I already have a white one. They really are handy to have and are a considerable size., the total length from the top of the hook (which by itself is 3"long) is 32" long. The chain from the bottom of the hook to the first basket is 12" in length. There is 3 1/2"from the bottom of the small basket to the top of the medium basket. 3 3/4" to 4" from the bottom of the medium basket to the top of the large basket. The 3 baskets are all made chain linked style, and measure ; the small one 3 1/2"deep ,7" wide tapering down to 5" wide. The medium one is 4" deep, 9" wide , tapering down to 6" wide, and the large one is 5" deep , 11" wide , tapering down to 7 1/2" wide. Some reviews say that the baskets can not hold much weight and they broke or fell apart. I have found that som of these links are separated alittle , I simply took some small pliers are pinched them back closer together, same as a chain necklace. And as far as how much they will hold , I comfortably put 5 to 6 lbs. of potatoes in the large basket at the same time a 3 lb bag of onions in the medium basket. The small basket holds plenty of whole garlic. As long as you aren't swinging these baskets around and you have a long enough and strong enough hook to hold the weight there shouldn't be a problem . My personal advise is to inspect the baskets and chains really good , hold the baskets by the top of the hook an tug the baskets adding some weight while inspecting them. Maybe it seems like work but all of these chain tiered baskets are going to be made overseas , unless you plan to 9nly use them for small snacks like granola bars , fiber one bars and rice krispy which just happen to be what my other one has in it , then maybe you don't need to really worry about the links , but that may not always be the case. For each basket that is connected to the chain there is a small round ring attaching them.I have squeezed the rings together a bit more overlapping the opening ends for more strength. I am going to order the green one next to put an african violet in the top and 2 other plants below . These are just my own thoughts , suggestions and opinions on this 3 tiered hanging basket.???? Craftsmanship leaves much to be desired

Honestly, not terrible for the price. Mine is woven together crookedly in a few areas but who’s really scrutinizing a fruit basket? I am mindful not to store too much in the baskets and I’m pleased with the product two weeks later.

So great it's all I use for my fruits and veggies.

Definitely can hold a lot! I fill the bottom with potatoes. So sturdy it hasn't given at all and I don't think it will!

Cute and usedul

I bought this basket about a year ago. Its still in great condition and i use it for all my produce. One of the links broke after i tried to fit in a spaghetti squash but it was easily fixed with pliars and more of a user error from putting in too much weight.

Decent.

Overall this does the job! It looks fine, but not fantastic. The metal is not so strong but it's able to hold a lot of weight despite that. I wish the top hook was on a longer chain because it hangs really close to the ceiling, but I just added an extra chain I had

Not the most sturdiest basket holder

It arrived in good time and well packaged. I filled it with fruit and hung it up. Unfortunately it fell apart throwing fruit all over the floor. It was an easy fix for me but might not be for others. I was thinking about sending it back but decided to fix it and give it another go. If you’re careful placing fruit in it, it looks alright and performs the function of holding fruit. I would ask that the manufacturer places more emphasis on increasing the strength of the links.

Hanging baskets

The chain seems to break a lot even with a small amount of fruit and veg in it. Have repaired it three times now - but not really fit for use.

Fast arrived, nice green, sturdy.

Arrived very fast, the color green exactly what I wanted. I had a ceiling hook, so I hanged a chain then put it on. So that it’s not so high to reach. Kept my onions, garlic, lemon, avacado. For others who don’t have a ceiling hook , then extra cost to incur. So far good. Thanks

No copper hook or chain provided

Very nice looking baskets. Shame there wasn’t any installation tools provided as a matching copper hook and an additional chain to hang it a bit lower seems like a good idea. Instead I had to use a silver one which makes it look less proper. Still happy with the product. Don’t know how well will it be after some time of using but so far it seems quite resistant to weight of fruits and veg regardless for how fragile it looked in the first place.
