Seems to work!
The kitchen drain in my house runs under the house about 80 feet to the septic tank. It backs up on a regular basis. I used a power snake which worked, but after a couple of months, backed up again. I tried the jetter hose with the standard nozzle with the same results. I assume I am just poking a hole in the greasy clog. So I tried with this nozzle. I used the standard one first, to make a way through the clog, then used this one. I pushed it all the way to the tank, the pulled it back a few inches then waited for a few second, after pulling the jetter all the way out, I repeated the process. It took some time but hopefully will be worth it. It's been over two months now, so far so good. Time will tell if this really cleaned the mess up long term. If not I have the nozzles to do it again.

It works!
I bought this two years ago and used it for the first time today, My house was built in the early 50's and once a year I have to use my jetter hose and my 4200 psi pressure washer to clean out the waste line that runs to the main sewer line that becomes slow draining due to the aging cast iron pipe. This rotating nozzle does a heck of a better job of cleaning out the rust and scale I was using a bore tip and it was not cleaning like it should. You have to be patient to get through elbows but it goes through and does a great job.

More of a sewer line cleaner...
This product is great for cleaning open lines. It does not have a forward jet, and I see that they have updated the description to reflect that. I've used it to clean greasy buildup in a shop floor drain line that gets to stink in the summer months. The ring rotates and clears the pipe nicely. The spinning action kind of self centers the tip in 4-6" pipe, but in 12" it hangs out in the bottom. I haven't had much luck clearing plugged sewer lines with this tip. It pulls in the pipe real well then hangs up. I ended up buying the MTM Button tip for that. Now for its unintended purposes. I have a building that has that gutter helmet that you can't take off because it's under the shingles. Well, I stuck this jetter in the end of the gutter with the power washer throttled down, and let it rip. It pulled the hose right down the gutter spewing all that stuff out I couldn't get to. I did it three times. Now my gutters are clean as a whistle.

Works great to clean outdoor drains and with patience will clear drains
We have a trench drain (not French drain) across the back of our house. Instead of pulling up all the grates that cover 60' of drain we use a water jetting hose and the Forney 75142 nozzle to clean the drain. We remove the grate at the lower end of the sloping drain and let the nozzle pull itself forward with gentle guidance until it hits a blockage. We just wait 5 or so minutes and then pull the nozzle back a bit and let it go forward. Depending on the blockage the jet makes its way through the muck a second or third past gets the drain completely clean. This is a great getting nozzle.

Great Product
I purchased this nozzle a year ago. I have used it to clean out septic leach field 4” corrugated lines and 4” corrugate solid drain lines. This is a must have item. I also purchased a Forney 75134 quick disconnect. The nozzle is leaking around the band. But after the work that it has done, it is worth the cost. I will be purchasing another one in the next year. If you have every tried feeding a garden hose through a drain pipe to clear a clog, then you need to try this part. I used a nozzle that shoots a stream out the front as a digging nozzle, then the Forney 75142 as the cleaning nozzle. Let the nozzle pull the water line into the pipe, then slowly pull the line back out with a back and forth motion.

Amazing Nozzle
I finally got a chance to use the piece on my jetter hose and I am actually a bit mad that I did not just get this in the first place. When used with a 3100 PSI, 2.4 GPM Subaru pressure washer (Costco version) it had enough pull to drag the hose through the 100' yard drainage pipe. I was a bit concerned that the rotating nozzle may tear up the black corrugated pipe used in the French drain but I was wrong. It didn't do a thing besides clean it. I was amazed at how many handfuls of dirt came out of those pipes. After about two hours of use the rotating sprayer stopped working. A quick rinse and it started spinning again although I can tell the friction of HP water and dirt Ect will cause this to be an expendable part of used in dirt and grime. I am not worried about it though. Considering that this one job saved me enough in plumbers fees to buy the pressure washer, jetter hose, and nozzle I am happy to buy another down the road.

Cleared a French Drain Quick
Drains were filled with sediment and roots. I had been trying to clear the lines with a garden hose and nozzle for a week with little success. This nozzle on the end heavy duty power washer did it in just a few minutes. Only downside for me was that I had to purchase more fittings to increase the size of the threads, so that I could attach the nozzle to the hose. Also the description of the nozzle states there are forward and backwards facing ports. There are only backward facing ports. With that said, this is still a great durable product (it took some abuse as it was forced through the clog) and then pulled back through it to allow the jets to blast the blockage). For the price(including the extra fittings), it is a great value compared having a plumber do the work!

Clean Pipe Yeah!
Worked great and very affordable. Leach lines cleaned and worked good with 3200psi 2gpm pressure washer.

Check the orifice sizes!! This really shines with a more powerful gas powered pressure washer.
I used this head to clean up a 4" older sewer line with root issues along 20ft of pipe. The old line is clay with a seam every 3ft or so, originally "sealed" with cement. Roots have penetrated most of these seams. This jetter head worked well, but at 5.5mm orifice and a 4" pipe, was marginally functional with a 1650 psi, 1.3 GPM electric pressure washer on roots. That combination might work ok for a 3" pipe that just needed cleaning. I rented a 4000 psi, 5GPM gas powered washer and the difference was night and day. The head spun at a very high rate and easily pulled 50ft of hose down a six inch sewer pipe. It did a good job of removing heavier root masses up to about 4" up the pipe. Lighter root masses were removed entirely. I inspected with a camera before and after running the jetter head down the line each time. Picture one (higher resolution) was from the pros that ran the line with a 3" mechanical cutter (the largest that would fit down the cleanout) a few days before I ran the DIY jetter down the line. The second was from an inexpensive camera after running the Forney 75142 down the line a few times. It shows that most of the root mass is gone.

IT WORKS!!!
This little fitting is amazing!! Saved me thousands of dollars!!$$$. I used it in conjunction with a Schieffer Co. Sewer Jetter Kit 1/4" NPT x 100' Hose & 4.5 Orifice Button Nose Nozzle 4000 PSI and a 2800 psi gas pressure washer. My 30 year old septic drain field was completely plugged because my water softener got stuck in regen and overflowed myseptic tank causing tons of poop, paper, tampons baby wipes etc.. to flow down into my distribution box and drain field... what a nightmare!! Anyways after correcting the softener problem and draining the septic tank/ diverting the effluent with a half horsepower submersible pump we dug up the distribution box. Then I found my old concrete box had crumbled and fallen apart so we busted that up carefully so as to not damage the plastic inlet and outlet pipes and shovelled out a nice rectangular hole free of debris. The inlet from my tank was not plugged But the five of the 60 foot long drain field lines would not flow any water as they were full of nasty crud!! So I began sewer jetting the 5 lines with the Schieffer Co. Sewer Jetter Kit 1/4" NPT x 100' Hose & 4.5 Orifice Button Nose Nozzle 4000 PSI and it chewed its way down the pipes relatively easy. As I was doing that I ran my half horsepower submersible pump down in the hole I created as the water and debris started flowing back in to the distribution dox hole I created. Then I switched the tip to the fourney 75142 tip and stuffed it down the drain field lines and wow it easily pulled out oodles of crud back into the d-box hole where I could pump and shovel the debris...this little tip is powerful!! Highly recommended!! Thanks to other users on here who highly recommended this fitting as it saved my drain field!! Now all I have left to do is install a plastic distribution box and were back in action.. P.S. this was not a five minute job I spent several hard weeks and got covered in poop doing it but it’s cheaper than replacing your system. Oh ya and don’t waste your money on products you throw in the tank it will not clear a plugged drain field at all!!!

Very Impressive Tool
I attached this to a hydraulic hose and then to my 1800psi/1.2 gpm electric power washer, and used it to clean out the mud etc packed inside of my Jeep TJ frame, in an effort to avoid rotting from the inside out. I purchased this rotating nozzle, after trying a fixed jet nozzle (also very impressive) with a forward facing orifice, in addition to the 3 rear facing orifices. While I believe the fixed jet nozzle was better at breaking through blockages, due to the forward facing orifice, this rotating nozzle was more through at flushing out the frame while pulling the hose back out. This nozzle has sharper edges than the fixed nozzle I used, so it did get snagged on metal hardware inside of the frame more than the fixed nozzle did. For my application, I highly recommend this nozzle. Combine it with a fixed nozzle with forward facing orifice and, wow.

A great little tool.
I saved hundreds of dollars by using this sewer nozzle to clean grass roots and solids out of my septic field. I attached it to one end of a 1/4" by 75' hydraulic hose that I salvaged from a piece of oilfield equipment, and attached the other end to my pressure washer. The rear pointing angle of the 3 orfices helped propel the nozzle forward when feeding it into the pipe (all 75' with no problem) and did a good job of flushing the pipe when pulling it back out.
