Nice.
Well balanced, and didn't throw wires all over the shop on initial startup, or, after 10 minutes of use. VERY happy with this. Did I say it is well balanced? So tired of balancing cheap wheels, and picking wires out of my arms. Not an issue with Forney.

It seems well made and sturdy. The crimp looks durable. I was hoping to support a company in America but this like every other thing on Amazon is Made in China.

Best wire wheel I've used
Over the years I've went through a lot of wire wheels, and this one is the best I've found. I use the wheel on a bench grinder for light rust removal and things like burnishing the threads on bolts after cleaning. There's an impressive amount of wires in this wheel and they stay planted in the wheel much better than any other wheel I have used. It has seen four months of daily use and really doesn't appear any different than the day I installed it. It also deserves its "Fine" rating and it doesn't erode the material and does a great job of polishing out metals. It is wider than what my old bench unit was set up for but I just installed a spacer so that it doesn't rub on the inside and my grinder doesn't have an outside plate to worry about.

Very good professional grade
So, i have a porter cable 6 inch bench grinder. Originally, i baught a wite wheel from lowes. It was messed up from the git go. The moment you thought about turning it on... wires met belly. Every single time. So, i didnt use it for the longest time. Ans i didnt have a stand for it.... but i built a stand out of scrap things, use it often with this wire wheel. Works just as industrially as the one we have at work.... at our maint. Shop. Thanks for the good product

Tough and low vibration
This wheel has by far exceeded my expectations! I've gone through numerous wire wheels over the years and have had wire pieces constantly fly off on almost every object I used the wheels on. But with this product I've used it multiple times so far and not one single piece of wire has come loose. It bounces extremely well allowing for very low vibration. It also has a perfectly uniform look. Meaning no small gaps or small holes in the wire cluster. This product is priced far lower than it should be which is another reason why I am buying another one. I highly recommend this wheel!

Not horrible, but definitely not great...
If you are running a 6" bench grinder that uses a 1" grinding wheel, be advised that the brush I received easily measures 1 1/8" across the face. While this may not seem a big deal, it may likely, as in my situation, rub the guards. It also took a good deal of truing to reduce the vibrations from this wheel. The bristle stiffness is good for general purpose mechanics work, but overall there are definitely better choices in wire wheels. Not horrible, but certainly not great - your typical "Made in China" product.

I have a little 6 inch craftsman grinder. All the 6 inch wire brush wheels I could find at the store were thin and sparsely packed with bristles. I wanted a densely packed brush with a thick bunch of bristles that wouldn't fly off on me. However, the only dense ones sold in big box stores were for 8 inch grinders. Luckily Forney has this great brush on here for sale. It was exactly what I wanted for my old Craftsman 1/3 grinder. Has held up for 6 months already. If you want a great wire brush for your grinder, this is it! Dont live with the thin cheap brushes sold in big box stores. This is the real deal!

Great for my bench grinder
This works great for my bench grinder to replace my old and very worn out wire wheel. I uses these a lot for rust and paint removal and general cleanup.

gentle wire wheel
This is a quality wire wheel. I like how it is gentle on removing crud when I'm restoring motorcycle parts. my bench grinder turns at 3450 RPM 1/2" arbor . All wire wheels will shed wire when spinning but so far this one doesn't.

The best wire wheel I've ever used.
Why do I say the best? it is well balanced, the wire is soft enough to use on delicate surfaces , in initial use, I only got one or two loose strands of wire hitting my face shield which is understandable but after that I never had loose strand flying around, this to me is a sign that it is well made, good enough for heavy (hobby) use.

Brosse ronde en acier.
J'aime ce produit, commode pour nettoyer et polir des pièces en métal. Je l'ai utilisé plusieurs fois et très satisfait, je le recommande. Seul chose il a fallut que je me fasse un mandrin pour l'installer sur mon moteur je n'ai pas pu en trouver par ici.

Decent quality - dense bristles
I had a cheapo that quickly expanded in all directions when I used it. This one so far has kept it's shape and looks like it will last a long time.
