Die rust!

Recently, I have taken to restoring old tools as a sort of hobby. Started with a bunch I came across in my own basement. Now I actively seek them out. Amazing what you can find for virtually no cost. Dull but harmless hobby. Well with a little solvent, a good wire brush and some decent lubricant you’d be amazed what you can find and salvage. These guys are made in Mexico ????????, cost like $4 bucks and work great. Buy them a dozen at a time. Very satisfied. Definitely recommend. Thanks for reading

Bristles are to short for me...

Handle gets in the way when brushing Slag in a V-groove weld. Bristles should be longer to clear hand when cleaning out a groove/ bevel.

It’s a brush.

It scrubs stuff. Don’t scrub your Teflon pans with and don’t brush your hair with it if you like your scalp where it is. That’s all I really have to say about a wire brush.

The bristles are very hard

The bristles are very stiff and hard. There is also very few of them. I found it not useful for cleaning rust on car/brake parts. Better to get a soft but dense metal brush with more bristles.

Works well. Sturdy metal pins.

Good brush. Used it to clean some screws and brush rust off old tools. Gave it a light sand with a steel wool to take the edges off around the handle -- mine was quite rough in spots on arrival, and then applied a coat of linseed oil for ease of cleaning later. Works well. Metal wire hairs are quite stiff, which makes the brush very effective even with low pressure.

AWESOME BRUSH

Fantasic quality, I put it to the test stripping nasty thick layers of oil based varathane. Great height to the bristles-they don't jam up and the bristles are 150% solid!

Works for rust removal

I used this with standard rust remover spray and rubbed some heavy rust buildup off a metal chair without too much effort. The wires are staight and sharp and the handle is easy to grip.
