Easy to use and good price

I’ve tried other brands for repainting my furniture, that were more expensive and this brand has been by far, the best. It doesn’t take a carpenter or much effort to do a good job of sprucing up a piece of old wood furniture.

Great Product!

I found this product through YouTube DIY channels and decided to give it a try! Now, I'm not sure how I ever got along crafting without it! This stuff gives a beautiful "faux wood stain" appearance to inexpensive bare wood and instantly elevates it! You just paint it on, wipe off the extra and let it dry! It's super easy, not very messy, and you still have a lovely stained wood appearance! Try the smaller bottle on your crafts, you won't be disappointed!

My FAV Dark wax product to use over any paint, esp chalk paint!

Been using Folkart Antique Wax for YEARS now, unfortunately it is getting hard to find in stores. And their chalk paint is impossible! Thankfully they had it here! AND that a little goes a VERY LONG way! My original jar of the same size lasted me about 4-5 yrs and I use it pretty often (as I flip or paint signs and wood items to resell), so I know I wont be needing another one for a long time. Im just afraid they won't be making it anymore! Best dark antique wax for any project. Ive used it on chalk painted glass, wood, clay, chipboard, even cloth! And Ive used it on raw wood too. I highly recmnd! Esp where it is so affordable where other brands are way more expensive and you get far less!

Best Product

I wish I could buy something with this quality in Germany. We don‘t have something like this antique wax. It is gorgeous. High pigmented, easy to work with, great result. And I wish, I would have bought more than only one in June. Because now I read, they don‘t ship any longer to Germany. Very sad. There were so many projects I wanted to realize with the wax. Now I don‘t know how I should do it. It is the same problem with minwax gel stain. We can‘t buy this in Germany and we don‘t have any gel stain here, only dropping, sticky, annoying liquids. Sometimes DIY here is not as funny as it could be. Please excuse my bad English.

Great product

Very good product. Bought based on seeing Steve Ramsey use it. Gives a lovely golden brown look if applied with a cloth. Or a darker medium brown (which I went for after doing samples) if applied with a brush and then wiped off with a clean cloth. Good drying time, not too fast or slow. Great on some pine furniture I made. Will be buying more.

Nice antique effect

I picked this up to use on a vintage lamp restoration project. The patina effect is very nice, but you have to use it very lightly and sparingly to get the desired effect. Looks great otherwise.
