Steel toe dress shoes

Was very happy to find dress shoes with steel toes. My husband is GM at a HD plant, likes to dress professionally and these shoes work perfectly.

Shoes are too heavy

I WEAR RUBBER SOLE DRESS SHOES FOR WORK. I WORK IN AN OFFICE. THESE SHOES ARE WELL MADE, BUT TOO HEAVY. THE SIMILAR MODEL BY ECCO IS MUCH LIGHTER AND WEARS EQUALLY WELL

Look great, feel great

Bought these due to company now requiring safety toe shoes on floor at all times and I work in the office most of my day and didn't want to have to change my shoes when heading to the floor. They are a bit heavy but look great and feel super comfortable. Had to go up a 1/2 size as the felt a bit tight and narrow in the toes.

Comfortable shoe that has retained its antistatic properties

I tried the shoes on and they do fit. It takes about four or five "wears" to break in. Everyday at work I test the shoes at the ESD test station for heel and wrist stats. It passes every time. One note is that if you go outside the building, you may have to clean the dust of the soles of your shoes before retesting. I am happy with the shoes. I don't have to worry about ruining heal stats because I forgot to take them off before leaving the manufacturing area. I would definitely buy these again or recommend them to some one else.

All day on smooth concrete

Work on production floor, walking at least 15000 steps daily. Feet feel great.

The back of the shoe is very irritating to the heel

The back of the shoe is very irritating to the heel. The same model bought 5 years ago was cushioned to avoid irritating the heel while walking. However, the width and the length of the shoe are perfect, the seams are well sewn and the sole seems resistant. I softened the back of the shoe by pleating it several times and I think I can prevent it from irritating the heel in this way.

Delivery took a bit long but that was ok, got the product, the shoes fit wonderfully, however on viewing the slip ons I found that the style was not to my taste, great fitting and sharp shoe though, high quality. I was very impressed with the return policy and ordered the same shoe only with the laces. I found this Florsheim safety shoe to be the best looking dress shoe available and would highly recommend them even though I returned the pair purely because of my personal taste. I look forward to the replacement lace up version.
