Ordered this chair to replace a simular one. This chair has a higher back then my previous one that I bought from an office supply 2 years ago. I like this type of chair becouse the back is more straight and doesn't force you to hunch over. Many of the chairs have a pillow at about shoulder high that are uncomfortable for me. I also very much prefer fabric to the fake leather. The best price was the grey color which is quite good looking. The previous chair that was like this broke at the plastic arms which support the back, also the plastic legs broke where the castors are inserted. After 2 months this one shows no signs of stress so far, but then the other one took 2 years, for now I'll leave my rating at 4 stars. This chair was approx. $30 cheaper then simular chairs at the big box office supply.

Nice photo - CHEAPLY made - Destroyed My Carpet!
I wanted a replacement fabric executive style high back desk chair. The photo online looked quite nice. The info available sounded fine, so I purchased one. It was easy to assemble. BUT, when I sat in it at my desk, I found myself sitting back too far, the back had way too much tilt, and the gas height lifter didn't hold. So, I put shims under the seat which corrected the maximum tilt, I got a pillow to put behind my back, and finally, I opened the gas lift device and put a 3" spacer in which kept me from submerging. Then everything seemed to be just fine. A month or so later, I noticed that the chair seemed to be loose, and sure enough the bolts had all loosened. I tightened then very securely, but they still needed to be tightened every few weeks. This chair is like plastic; I had no idea it was so cheaply made. But I could endure occasionally tightening the screws. In fact, for the past year or so that I've had this chair, I have kept the Allen wrench on the top of my desk. THEN A HUGE PROBLEM SURFACED - one morning I sat down, and scooted my chair up to my desk - but the chair didn't move. I tried again, but it was stuck. I looked under the chair and found that the center post assembly had penetrated my carpet all the way to the concrete floor beneath it. IT DESTROYED MY CARPET! It does not appear that the center post assembly came down; it looks like the entire base arms simply bent down. That would corroborate my opinion that the whole chair acted like plastic. I called the importer, but they were no help. They referred me to the actual shipper who never returned my call. My advice: BEWARE - FLASH FURNITURE IS A WASTE OF MONEY.

Great Chair
I don't usually review too many products. But, if you work in a office you know how hard it is to find a chair your satisfied with. I'm a teacher so when I'm in the office it's a comfortable chair if your relaxing in a sitting position or if you have to write. I had this chair for 5 years at my old school and had to order another for the new school. My favorite, and this is good if the boss isn't around is that it leans back far enough, but not too far, so you can relax with your feet on the desk, comfortably. And the gray doesn't show any dirt or mishaps from lunch. I'm 5'8 about 170 pounds and this chair does the trick for me. Other bigger goons from the office like to sit in it when I'm not there as well. Good luck with your search. Just to add a side note. There is a lock on it that if you unlock the part that pumps the chair up it leans all the way back.

You get what you pay for.
I'm gonna split my review down into 2 section. What I liked and what I don't like. What I liked about this chair: - Cheap. - Easy to assemble. - All the parts you need to assemble the chair is there including the special allen wrench. What I don't like about this chair: - Made of cheap quality materials. - Everything is held together by the plastic arm parts. The back and seats are connected to the arm. If the arm breaks there goes your chair. - The arm part is made of cheap plastic. - It is NOT a solid chair. - Leans back too much probably because of my weight. I tried to tighten the springs but not much help. - The seat collapses if you are heavy (above 200 pounds). You can alleviate the discomfort by buying a seat cushion. - It's a cheap product made in China. If you want a very comfortable sturdy office chair this is not a good product. If you just want a budget chair to sit on then this might be worth your money. - Due to the cheap materials and shoddy quality I don't see this chair last more than a year of use.

Best chair I've owned!!
I know a lot of reviews are not so good but for being on a budget I'm glad I chose this chair I like the color. I use it as my computer chair and I like the arm rests and high back. Recommended for any desk user!!

Comfortable
Very comfortable chair with a shape and feel to it that's very hard to find now a days. Had to search a lot to replace a old chair that was like this one. This chair really works for me, I can sit in it for long hours without problem. I was worried about the reviews negative reviews but for me its perfect.

Smelled like cigarettes and chemicals
Chair is ok, you get what you pay for. I dont know what smoke filled warehouse it was stored in but the fabric stinks of cigarettes and chemicals. Hopefully some fabreeze and airing it out for a few days will help.

Such a comfortable chair
This was a gift for my father in law, it was so comfortable everyone in the house wants to sit in it. It is sturdy and holds up well even with my children constantly playing in it. Going to buy one for my mother in law.
