Such A Dashing Young Buck

This ceramic "figurine" is breathtaking! The word "figurine" seems woefully inadequate to describe this gent. He is dressed to the nines and ready to sweep some young doe right off her feet. Were he human, I'd have no problem proclaiming him to be a Sharp Dressed Man. He arrived safely covered with styrofoam from the tip of his ears to the bottom of the ceramic earth under his feet. The pictures really don't do him justice. Every detail is perfect, and the ducklings - too adorable! I was in awe as I removed him from the styrofoam, set him gently on the kitchen counter, and proceeded to turn him round and round to get a good look. I knew what the dimensions were so I knew he was going to be tall, but I didn't realize exactly how tall. The fine details like the pocket watch hanging from his waistcoat, which by the way was safely wrapped in paper, and the gold tassels on his overcoat just really set it all off. My daughter and granddaughter came over this past weekend so I showed Dashing Young Buck to them, and you should have heard the gasps. I gasped a bit myself, and nearly slapped some hands as they reached out to touch him. I did manage to restrain myself, but I put Young Buck away as quickly as I could. I had thought he would be a wonderful Easter decoration, and he will be, but this rabbit is more than just an Easter decoration. He is a statement! I'm going to find a safe and secure place to display him year-round. He is absolutely gorgeous, and methinks I need to get the female rabbit to display right next to him. What else can I say? 3 thumbs up!

Bunny Love (from a pagan)

Speaking honestly, neither I nor my SO are in any way religious -- but her dear granny is. We saw this and given that grandma is a collector, just could not pass it up. This is a legit F&F product first off. And though it does not have a Lladro level of craftsmanship, it makes up for that with its warmth and character. As someone who doesnt much care for easter -- on any level, even I was moved and quite astonished at how cool, expressive, ornate and august this Hare is. I almost wanted to keep him!!!! The detailing on the jacket and vest are a sight to behold ... you can get lost in the beauty of them. I know. Sounds corny but this sculpture is just that nice and almost tranquil in its disposition. Also, even though the sizing is spot on -- this sauntering sartorial specimen just feels SO MUCH bigger, in a nice way. Just be sure you have an equally grand spot to feature him, as you will certainly want to show him off!

Absolutely Charming!!!

The only thing 'wrong' with this bunny is that I couldn't afford the Dapper Male rabbit figurine as well. My first Fitz and Floyd item was an adorable snowman pitcher. I loved their work when I saw it, so I was confident that the Dapper female rabbit would be just as adorable, and it is. I have two islands in my kitchen, one of which I considering the baking island although it usually has a big pile of junk on it since I don't bake as much as I used to. Last week I managed to get ambitious enough to clean up the top of it and so when this bunny arrived, I had the perfect spot for it. It is sitting on a pastel, quilted table runner that I made years ago. Now to be sure we stay out of the habit of dumping stuff on the counter when we walk in from outside. This bunny is the perfect decoration for Easter, although as a Christian I try to remember the religious significance of the day and I do not get into Easter bunnies and eggs, etc. It is perfect for any country style decoration or wou.ld mix in well with Beatrix Potter decorations in a baby's room (although I would remove it by the time the child would be able to reach it and break it). Please make note of the size as it is almost 2 feet tall, so that It won't fit on most bookcase shelves. You will want to know ahead of time where you might like to place it. If you are only going to use it during part of the year, I would suggest retaining the packing box as it comes with carved styrofoam to the keep the bunny safe during storage. I so appreciate and am delighted to have been able to review this bunny. Thank you.

Exquisite Piece of Art!

I have admired Fitz and Floyd ceramic pieces for a while now, so I ordered the Dapper Female Rabbit in anticipation of Easter. This piece has far exceeded my expectations and she is now on permanent display in my home. The figurine arrived carefully encased in styrofoam within a box and I'm storing the box in case I need to repackage her in the future. This piece is highly detailed and hand-painted to perfection. I truly love that this beautiful female rabbit has so much detail around the entire piece! The colors are gorgeous and it's truly a collector piece. I'm hoping that I can add the Dapper Male Rabbit Figurine in the future! This figurine is tall at 20", beautiful in detail all around the entire piece, and now a beloved collectable in my household. I highly recommend this exquisite Fitz and Floyd Dapper Rabbit Female Ceramic Figurine!

Delightfully Dapper ????

The Fitz and Floyd Dapper Rabbit Female Ceramic Figurine arrives perfectly packed in a Styrofoam box. The last thing you’d want is this gorgeous figure breaking. I actually saved the box and the Styrofoam in my attic in case I store the ceramic piece. I haven’t decided yet if I should just display her during Eastertime or all year long. ???? I must say, it will be difficult to store this nicely dressed gal gathering a basket of strawberries out of sight. She’s just an incredible earthenware piece of intricate hand-painted art. What’s puzzling to me is that the country of origin is China. I was tempted to remove one star after I learned this information, but I am pleased that the company is transparent about the country of origin on Amazon. ???? Additionally, I read the dimensions of the rabbit wrong on Amazon. The “20-inches height by 8-inches long by 7-1/4 inches wide” size is much larger than I anticipated. In fact, I positioned her throughout different areas in my house, and I think I finally found a spot on the landing. What a beauty. ???? I rarely rate products 5 stars unless they really “knock my socks off” and after a careful review of the dapper statue, I couldn’t resist! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
