just what I needed
thanks-- using these to replace the screws on my combination storm windows. My combination storm windows in New England were installed about 1970. Since I'm painting the house, I planed to buy new combination storms for $350 each, or more, plus installation, (good luck finding somebody to do that). Instead, I rebuilt them-- it's not hard to pull out the old fuzzy stuff, which is what fails, and slide in new fuzzy stuff (that's what makes the approximate seal between the storm windows). That, and cleaning off the old bedding compound, & re-bedding the storm window frame-- pretty darn good. NOTE: be very careful and removing them – number the screens, window glass, and frames so they all go back together, take the moving pieces out first, remove the frame gently so it doesn't bend, and treat it gently while you're cleaning it up. When you put it back in, put both glass pieces in to keep the frame square, otherwise the frame will rack, and you will have a problem. Of course there are good YouTube videos. The labor involved was partly my own and partly paid, no more than $50 per window for removal repair, materials, replacement... And I'll bet they'll be good for another 30 years. By the way, if you're considering removing old wood windows, and putting in replacement double glazed windows, think VERY carefully about that. They hard sell you on them, but there are studies that show that a good combination storm (in good repair, doesn't have to be brand new) and a single glazed window is 95-98% as effective as a Double glazed windows. And the problem with double glazed windows, is that as soon as there is a breach between the two pieces of glass -- you have, effectively, a single glazed window. And there's no way to get the insulation value of a double glazed window without replacing the whole thing all over again. Versus with a single glazed window and storm combination --it's modular! If you have 2/2, 1/1 (or as I have in my old colonial house, 12 over 12 "lights" (pieces of glass) -- if you break or crack one, you replace that one piece of glass, that's all. And those double glazed windows will fail. It might be 10 years, it might be 20 years, but they will fail, and then they're just junk, more landfill. And in the meantime you're cold, because you only have a single glass window. And you have to pay to remove the old junk and put a new piece of junk in. Save the old windows!!

I would buy these screws again
We replaced some vertical blinds which left holes in the metal frame. We purchased this item and I was able to use these screws to fill the holes improving the appearance of the new blinds.

Paint job is poor
Functionally the screws were fine, but the paint job on the heads was poor. Not sure if the paint coverage was poor when applied or if the paint was damaged in transit. Regardless, the heads were a grayish white, the Prime-Line brand screws had a much better paint job.
