Duct Tape Crafting
I use the Fiskars Nonstick 8" Bent Scissor and the Fiskars Nonstick 5" Scissor for crafting with duct tape. There isn't much that sticks more obnoxiously than duct tape but these Fiskars nonstick scissors snip right through the tape as if it were nothing more than paper. Try getting a few straight cuts through duct tape with standard scissor if you dare. Very little tape sticks to these scissors at all even on large projects and you can very easily clean any sticky with a quick rag swipe or a single dab of clean tape. Try that with standard scissors and you will be sorely disappointed and probably quite frustrated (at least I was). These nonstick scissors are a life saver. Leave it to Fiskars to come up with the smart solution! The 8" bent scissors are very ergonomic and are the size and shape of the good sewing scissors many ladies (and gentleman who sew) don't let anybody touch - perfect for clean cuts on just about any medium to large project and great for just about any standard cutting job. The 5" scissors are fantastic for detail cuts and small projects. Both scissors are ergonomic and your hands don't get tired quickly with a lot of cutting with either pair - though I wouldn't use the 5" pair for large cutting jobs. I am considering purchasing another pair of these Fiskars Nonstick 8" Bent Scissor for general kitchen use. What a pain always having to clean sticky stuff off my standard kitchen scissors. These are far more durable and easier to clean. Thank you for a fantastic solution, Fiskars!

Best Yet for Scissors
We had a sad removal service for my 25 year old Fiskars. Even though I could not estimate how many cuts the old pair made I feel certain it was a big bunch of cuts that went from paper to plastics to heavy cardboard to dog hairs and many others. The old ones were dismissed to the garage and the new ones took Center Drawer. After using them for several days they have every beneficial factor the old ones had with the exception these are Nonstick and Bent. I don't think Nonstick scissors were around in 1985. What's amazing is that nonstick is not just a fancy name. These are nonstick. The Bent portion is a must for most users. When I have a large piece of paper or cloth to cut the bent adds a positive benefit to getting 'er done. To call these just scissors is accurate but they are scissors with an attitude of cutting whatever is thrown at them and finishing the job without a snag.

Good scissors
I tried to take a piece of tape and stick to it, and it really doesn't stick so well. Maybe if you press ultra hard, but it seems to be holding up to its non-stick label. They are also just really good scissors overall. Happy with the purchase.

A good pair of scissors
Generally I think anything Fiskars is excellent - both in quality, materials and value. These probably fall a little short of 'excellent' in value - plus i found them a little 'stiff' to operate. I like the 'bent' style - and have other Fiskars of that type that I like better - although the others are not the non-stick. Perhaps the 'stiff' operation is the 'price' to pay for the non-stick - not sure. By and large, you cannot go wrong with Fiskars produces - and they have a life-time warranty.

Typical Fiskars quality: Very good to excellent
Smooth, reasonably stiff (for their purpose - fabric, paper) blades. Comfortable, form fitting grip without sharp mold seams. Adjustable, hinge offers proper tension out of the box. Teflon coating; maybe this helps, doesn't hinder.

I've been using these particular type of scissors for a few years now. I have to cut a lot of different types of tapes in my work. The coating is perfect for cutting through adhesive backed materials. Note: Something I figured out years ago: When cutting an adhesive backed material, like masking type, duct tape, etc., cut it with sticky size up.

Sharp, sturdy, cuts cleanly
You can immediately tell that these scissors are better than your basic, generic scissors. They are sharp and they cut cleanly. They are also sturdy. I used them to cut a large carpet pad comprised of 1/2" thick felt with rubber backing. without difficulty. I'm very happy with this item.

Straight cut
The media could not be loaded. I love these scissors so much, they still have a smooth straight cut. I use them for cutting textiles and they non stick easy to use. I recommend them for seamstress to cut fabric. I would buy again

Fiskars Non-stick scissors
I use a lot of double-sided sticky tape and ordinary scissors become clogged very quickly when cutting. I've been using these ones daily for several weeks now and they're as clean as they were when I bought them. An excellent purchase!
