Not as quality as the original that came with my floor mate
Had a defective filter, but the seller sent me out a replacement which I received the next day. Very impressed with the seller. I guess they don’t make things like they use to. But the filter worked very well. Suction was great.

The official Hoover filter.
Seems to do the job. Nothing else to report. I don't know how long they last, because this is a used sweeper I purchased at Goodwill. I will try to come back to the review and add more info when I get some use out of the filter.

Hoover FloorMate Filter
Like my Hoover FloorMate. Have to have the filter. Good news is that the filters last. They can be cleaned and reused over and over, but eventually need to be replaced. Unfortunately, as with most "gadgets," finding in retail the "refills" or replacements isn't always easy, as product manufacturers create great devices, then tinker with them and in a year, they'll release a product of the same name, but have made a minor alteration and the next thing one knows, the filters are shaped differently or adjusted in some way to make the one for your model seemingly irrelevant and encourage a new purchase (this has happened to me more than once with the DustBuster handheld vacuum product... the device kept well, works well... but when I returned for needed filter replacements, the "model" wasn't the 9 (or whatever), it was the 9.1 and the filter went from square to cone shape). That being said, this filter was purchased when I first got the FloorMate, putting me at least a little ahead of the game. Although to be fair to Hoover, I'm confident that they'll manufacture and retail the filter for my model for some time, as my experience with Hoover (vacuum cleaner, carpet cleaner, etc), they make a durable product that do want to last a few to several years, so I do expect less problems later in locating additional refills. Particularly when Amazon is a great way to locate some of the older model appliance or gadget add-ons & accessories when new models get introduced.

Actual Hoover filter
Mine just arrived today and I haven't used it yet but I thought I should comment about the item because many reviewers said they received an aftermarket product. So in case you were wondering... Mine came in a Hoover package and looks identical to the one in the picture as well as the one that came with my machine. It says on the box Part #58177051, and there's a number above the part number (40112050), which I think is confusing because it's in a font larger than the item # so I have to wonder what that number is that looks "more important" somehow. I think sometimes the same items are sold by different sellers, or the "main" seller for a particular item changes from time to time. When I ordered mine a couple of days ago, it said it was sold by Amazon and the price was $6.13 (free 2-day shipping with my Amazon Prime membership). If I click the link to the item from "Your Orders" under "Account", it now takes me to the same item, but the seller is DeepDiscountsco and the price is $6.03 with free shipping. So I think whether you get an aftermarket product or not may depend on who's selling it at the time that you order it. Maybe you can click somewhere to ask the seller, before ordering, if the item is name brand or generic. I know this isn't a very interesting review, but maybe it will help someone.

Works But Don’t Bend It
It’s the only filter for the machine available. Filter appears well made, but when rinsing it out, don’t flex the sides to get a thorough rinse out because the rim will crack! I just put a tiny drop of super glue on it to hopefully fix it.

Keep FloorMate cleaning better for longer
Arrived very fast and well packaged and will keep the FloorMate working great for longer. Wonder if it is a subscribe and save item

Fit my old Hoover Floormate
This replaced an old filter in an old Hoover Floormate. Now my Hoover is like new again.

If you have a Floor Mate, eventually you have to replace the filter
The Hoover Floor Mate is an amazing machine to clean up a dirty floor. You add hot water and cleaner to one tank; the machine sprays and brushes the surface; it then vacuums up the dirty water and filters it into a second tank. (Believe me, what you see in that second tank can be appalling.) The filters are made of pleated paper and a rubber seal. After each use, we wash the tanks and the filter. The paper filter held up well for three years, but eventually you have to replace it. The replacement filter I received from Amazon was a genuine Hoover part. It arrived in the standard packaging with the Hoover logo, and was not a generic substitution. The replacement fit my Floor Mate perfectly and worked fine on its first test run on the kitchen floor. The filter cost under six dollars on Amazon, which is less than 60% of the price I found in the stores that carry them. If you have a Floor Mate, I recommend getting the replacement filters through Amazon for price and convenience.
