Works well.
I have a long hair cat in process of spring shedding and it gets in filter. I think I'll have to change it more frequently during shedding seasons. But it keeps the water fresh.

Often easier to get from Amazon, than from Chewy
My cats love their fountain, but keeping it clean is important. If I can't get the filters, then the fountain is useless. Often times I can get the filters I need on Amazon, much easier and cheaper than on Chewy.

Works well, sealed and disposable
The filters last from two to three weeks and then must be replaced. It is a sealed unit so cannot be refilled. By emptying the fountain and rinsing the filter the life can be extended a few days. Once the water starts stops coming in a steady stream and makes splashing noises it’s time to change the filter.

Affordable 3-pack
I have a Pioneer Swan fountain for my cat, and it's necessary to replace the filter every once in a while. I noticed a good price on Amazon for a 3-pack, and these little filters are great. Easy to take apart and put back in the fountain (make sure you really clean all parts of your fountain for little kitty). I'm pleased and unless the price goes up, I'll probably re-order in a few months to keep the life and health of the water fountain.

The T-shaped filter #3091 fits the Swan Tap-Style Drinking Fountain.
I got the Swan Tap-Style Drinking Fountain and T-shaped filters recently for my cat. She loved it. Unfortunately after a few weeks she came down with a severe case of Feline Acne on her chin and spent a month in hospital while the vets tried to get it under control. They feel it was probably triggered by an allergic reaction to the plastic drinking fountain. She does have sensitive skin and has many food allergies. I only use glass and ceramic dishes for her. So be aware, before you buy or if you do buy a drinking fountain made of plastic for your cat, watch for any signs of an allergic reaction. The T-shaped filter #3091 is the only filter which fits the Swan Tap-Style Drinking Fountain however another filter, for the rain style fountain, is advertised and sold with the Swan Fountain. I was quite distressed when I went to change the filter only to find I had been sold the wrong filter. It took a bit of sleuthing to find the #3091 filters. Even the stores were out of them and had to order them. This is poor advertising and customer service. Please ensure that the correct filters are advertised with the corresponding fountains. For the customers sake and for the pets we love.
