They do the job!
We liked these clips. They were easy to install. We used them with 1 1/2" tape wire because we had to quickly add an electric fence line for a new miniature horse we purchased. The rest of the lines in that paddock were 1 1/2" lines so we used the same width. We will be moving the horses to a new barn soon and we plan to use 2" electric tape there. These same clips will be able to be used there if we use vinyl or wood post.

Easy install, tight keeper!
These clips are very easy to install, they also give you the option to pull down and tighten better so your ribbon doesn’t slide much. (Bad pic, but all I got now) absolutely love these over the insulators that stick of your post 3 inches. These clips make it look tidy and clean and you don’t lose any space!

Updated review
I gave this a bad review on my first attempt using it because i was using it wrong. After i studied the design a little further i realized i was trying to clip the device the wrong way. If you just push the clip straight into itself it will never close. But if you push the clip to the side and then slide it in place it works perfectly. I have to admit that i was wrong in my original review and I now change my rating to a solid 5 stars.

They hold up Poly tape as intended
For the most part these work well, every once in a while you will get one (maybe 2-3 out of 10) that are a pain to get closed. The plastic latch part just didn't line up all the way with the plastic tab. It's not a huge deal as they are usable, just a bit tougher to get closed. I will say make sure you use the tensioner insulators at the starts, ends and corners as these hold tension OK, but like any insulator of this type are not robust enough to hold the tape on its own.

Does the job but hard to use
Though these will do the job, they are very stiff/hard to close. The closing mechanism is cheap and in a very high wind will pop open :( It also doesn't really fit the wide tape like it sais it does. You have to kind of "scrunch" up the sides a bit to get it to fit. Would use in a pinch but not my first choice.

Good for the 2 inch tape
Good insulators for the 2 inch tape. They will wear out with wind and opening, but not quickly.

Perfect Solution !
Recently replaced metal posts with wood and needed a new attachment for wood posts. These units are the perfect solution. The closure offers varied secure locations and fits a variety of polytape sizes. I used galvanized wood screws to attach. Completion went fast, looks great and will last for many years to come!
