I know this review is extremely long but I think it's worth reading to know how amazing this product was before being ruined by polyester. Skip to the bottom for the conclusion. ***The beginning of this review is for the hoodie before it was updated from 100% cotton to a 90% cotton, 10% polyester blend.*** I first purchased this hoodie on September 15, 2019. I ordered the 'Coral' color in XL because the reviews said it ran small. I am 6'1", 190 lbs, and have normal/average arm and torso measurements, and the XL fits me perfectly (on the loose side, but I prefer loose-fitting hoodies). The 100% cotton hoodie is by far the best hoodie I have ever owned considering its relatively low price and its quality-good stitching, accurate color depicted online, metal-tipped pull strings, the fabric is very soft, durable, and thick, and it's warm enough to wear in ~40-degree weather as well as light enough (because the XL fits loosely on me) to wear comfortably in ~70-degree weather. Additionally, I wear this hoodie often and have washed it many times and the material and stitching have held up well and the color has not faded. If this product was still 100% cotton, I'd give it 5/5 stars easily. I was so satisfied with the 100% cotton hoodie that I recommended it to my friends and family and decided to purchase another XL hoodie but in the 'Navy Eclipse' color. However, I did not check if the 'Product Features' had changed since my first purchase in September. When I ordered my first hoodie the 'Product Features' listed the hoodie as 100% cotton (the reason I chose to order it in the first place). ***Below is my review of the updated 90% cotton, 10% polyester blend hoodie.*** After the listing was updated in November the 'Product Features' listed the hoodie as 90% cotton, 10% polyester (which I didn't realize at the time), but was obvious when I first felt the fabric of my second hoodie purchase, even before trying it on. When I did try it on I was extremely disappointed; it's nowhere near as soft and comfortable as the 100% cotton one, it feels stiff, the torso seems 1 inch shorter (see photo), and fits a lot tighter overall. I wouldn't have thought the 10% polyester change would make a noticeable difference, but it has completely ruined the product. To double-check that I hadn't received a different hoodie than what I ordered the first or second time, I used a website specifically created to help consumers verify 'natural' product reviews and product information on Amazon listings and found that the listing was indeed the same product but updated from 100% cotton to the 90% cotton, 10% polyester blend. That being said, if you never owned the 100% cotton hoodie, the 90% cotton, 10% polyester blend hoodie probably won't seem nearly as terrible to you. It's still made of quality material, thick fabric, good stitching, metal metal-tipped pull strings, and warm; maybe an XXL would fit similarly to the 100% cotton XL. Therefore, I'm giving this product 4/5 stars largely due to owning the previous version. ***conclusion*** The 90% cotton, 10% polyester blend hoodie isn't near as comfortable as the previous 100% cotton hoodie and fits small/tight but is still a quality product relative to its low price. If you want a loose fit hoodie order 2 sizes up.
