Pleasantly surprised!
I’ve never ordered an Amazon essentials item before but wanted something to wear for art classes that I could get dirty, and this exceeded my expectations! I was expecting cheap thin material-not this luxurious softness. The navy is a true dark navy color and perfectly matches my lululemon high wasted joggers. Love how the hood string is the same color and subtle. I have a long torso and the crop length hits right at the belly button. Seems durable yet soft and thicker than expected. I will definitely order more, and hoping to see more colors added like sage green. And matching joggers. Do those already exist…?

Looks cute, fits perfect, but color darker than expected
This sweatshirt is so adorable! I love the cropped fit, it's the perfect length. The fit is perfect and true to size, and the material is so soft! The inside of the pocket is so soft I keep wanting to pet it. It seems pretty thick, like it will be the perfect thing to add some warmth to my outfits. The only downside to this is that the color was darker than expected. I ordered the purple-blue color, and I'd describe it as just purple. Still a pretty color - but it is different than pictured so beware of that

Great hoodie!
First of all, I'm loving that this comes in a bright neon color like lime green. I'm in a phase where anything neon is totally my jam at the moment. This hoodie is definitely a crop hoodie but is still super cute. I opted to go a size up just to be safe (for reference, Amazon recommended I go with an XL and I opted for an XXL and I'm glad I did). I prefer a little more room in my hoodies and sizing up definitely helped it not be too short and a bit roomier. I easily could have gone with my recommended size but glad I sized up- all personal preference in how you want it to fit. I will mainly wear it around the house (I work from home) and taking dogs out for a walk so I don't really care if it looks like a burlap bag lol. The material itself is also great and cozy. It won't shrink either. I love the color selection and the price is a great value for the quality!

Comfortable
This cropped hoodie is soft and comfortable. I love the vibrant color. I ordered a larger size than my normal size and I like how it fits better. I didn’t see any missed hems or loose threads. I haven’t washed it yet so I will update my review after doing so. So far I really like it.

Love this hoodie, high quality!
This cropped hoodie from the Amazon essentials brand is really soft and cozy! I ordered it in a size medium and it fit me very well. For reference I am 5’5” and about 130lbs. I do have a bit of a shorter torso, and it hits right above my hips, which I think is quite flattering. If your torso is longer, it may fit more like a true cropped top. I haven’t washed it yet, but it’s a cotton-polyester blend (55-45%, the tag it says it’s made with 27% recycled cotton and 46% recycled polyester!) so I would imagine it could potentially shrink a little. I would be careful to not let it get too hot in the dryer! I also prefer my hoodies to be made with cotton, so I’m not bothered by it potentially shrinking. I’m happy that Amazon is using some recycled materials in this blend, and I’m glad that they seem to be trying to implement more environmentally friendly practices. All in all, I’m really loving this hoodie! The only small critique I have is that the hood sticks out a bit more than I’d like. But it’s such a minor thing it’s hardly worth mentioning. It’s overall a great hoodie and a good value!

Insanely soft & comfortable
The first 2 things I thought when I opened the hoodie was that it seemed a little thin & that it was insanely soft on the inside. Once I put the hoodie on it didn’t feel as thin as I’d originally thought. It’s not thick, but it’s also not too thin, perfect to wear as a top layer this time of year (spring) or fall, it also seems like it will layer nicely during the winter. The inside is beyond soft & feels great on your skin. I sized up when I ordered bc I like a little extra room in my hoodies, I like the boxy cropped look & I wanted to make sure my stomach wasn’t going to show. I normally wear a Med or Large in tops, so I sized up to a 1x. I like the way the 1x fits me, but I definitely would’ve been good with the lg as well. I love kangaroo pockets in my hoodies, but the one in this hoodie is so small that you can’t really put anything in it w/o it falling out, it’s nice to keep your hands warm though. I’m on the shorter side, 5’2, so the xl is a bit longer than most cropped tops I have, but if I roll the hem band upwards, it’s the perfect length for me. It hits at right about my pants, maybe a little lower, but again, I don’t like to show my tummy so it’s perfect.
