Very good diastasis support
I am very happy with this binder. I have not had surgery and cannot comment on how it works for that condition and I have not purchased this to become my muscles only to offer temporary support so am reviewing from that perspective. I have tried at least seven different binders for my diastasis recti. I am finally working with an online program (the tummy team) which has me back on the market for a binder. This binder is a really great balance of all worlds... the tummy split by diastasis recti trouble is a tough place to splint for a curved waist-ed individual. This binder is not a second skin... but it is NOT so stretchy that it becomes useless right away nor scrunches almost immediately into my waist in a big worthless bunch (have had several of those). It is also not like a plastic tube with the hook and eyes that is so tight that the staves bend and end up digging into my back and sides while the elastic tube still bunches in spots where I bend and curve and it cuts off circulation like a tourniquet and hurts (have had at least two with those issues). This belt is soft enough to be comfortable and yet firm enough to give the reminder to activate my internal muscle. This belt is sewn up the back with both pieces angled so that it wraps around my waist more comfortably and supports the center diastasis split right at my waist. I just purchased my second one of these binders so that I have a replacement. This is a great price for an item I would purchase again in a heartbeat. It can be so discouraging to have diastasis recti and not have the funding to heal it, this really is better for your diastasis healing than many more expensive binders (I do not work for this company and do not get compensated for this review in case you are wondering... I am just a Mom with diastasis recti and have purchased the other expensive binders... and we did not have funds for them, just desperate to heal) ! The sizing is not as flexible as some, because of where the velcro closure is sewn... I ordered just a touch smaller than my waist size because I know some of my stomach size is the diastasis split... but not wishful thinking sizing either :-) I just have experience ordering tummy binders and know what I usually need is a touch smaller than what sizes are listed. I believe it runs true to size. Health and Happiness to all on your healing journey!

a very good product.
I wear this while I run in the pool to support my back & mid section. It has worked really well, the Velcro has strong holding power and it seems to be holding up quite well under the strain of the chlorine, though I have noticed it is starting to give in the back seam a bit. All in all though, a very good product.
