Great everyday eyeliner

Soft, faint and bleeds some. It's best for lower lash line.
This eyeliner is okay. I prefer to use a liquid eyeliner pen for precision, but I occasionally use pencil eyeliners. This one is a dark, matte black. It is a super soft eyeliner that applies very easily. You will want to keep the eyeliner sharp to keep your lines clean. The eyeliner goes on easily and comes off easily. It doesn't last as long and isn't quite as bold as the liquid eyeliners that I have become accustomed to. I normally have to clean up my eyes after using this one because it bleeds some at the corners. I also notice after being out for a few hours it has faded or disappeared. I like this eyeliner best for my lower lash line. It is good at getting in between your eyelashes and darkening the lower line. Overall, it is a decent pencil eyeliner. I will continue to use it (probably only on my lower lash line), but I would not purchase another one. There are better options out there for this price point.

Nice way to highlight your eyes
I don't wear a lot of makeup, but I do like wearing a bit of mascara and eye shadow. With this eye linter, I can skip the eye shadow and my eyes really "pop." What I like about this product: * The nice color. I was a bit skeptical of the dark black color, but once I put it on, it seemed "softer" and very natural. * It goes on easily. * It doesn't irritate my eyes. I have sensitive eyes and a lot of products irritate my eyes. * It has staying power, yet it is easily removed with makeup remover. A few things to note about this product: * The eye liner is soft and requires frequent sharpening. * The liner tends to bleed a bit at the edge of my eyes. If you are looking for a nice way to highlight your eyes, you will enjoy this product.

A beautiful deep black and a persistent waterproof formula.
This is a good eyeliner pencil. The Noir Intense is indeed a very deep black color. It goes on easily and is very persistent throughout the day because it is water proof. (It's easy to remove with makeup removing products.) I would have given it five stars if the tip stayed sharper, but the liner itself is a little on the soft side so it rounds out almost immediately. When I sharpened it, I was able to get a fine point, but it was gone before I got to the second eye. (I like a fine line.)

Great Staying Power!
I've used this eyeliner for a few days now and am quite happy with it. It seems a little dry to me, but goes on easily enough if I pre-moisturize and care is taken. It does need frequent sharpening to maintain a thin line which shortens the life of the pencil. It lasts well once on and doesn't run, so has a vote of 10 from me. My eyes water and it's been hard to keep liner in place for me, even more-so as I'm aging. It comes off easily and well with coconut oil or makeup remover. This is a softer black than some, in my opinion, so I like it better. I prefer a brown-black or dark brown as a rule. It's a bit expensive but good quality. Four and a half stars.

Some migration, would be long lasting if not a lot of sweating or activity
I'm giving it 4 stars because to me, 'waterproof' means it stays put without migrating and you need to use makeup remover to get it off. I used this on the waterline and got huge black eye boogers; when I lined my bottom lashline I got some mild migration under my eyes. I don't find this at all acceptable if I'm expecting 'long wear because it's waterproof' but it did last longer than a majority of pencil eyeliners. If you want true, hard to get off black eye pencil, get Smashbox gel pencil liners. THOSE DO NOT BUDGE. These are I'd say, next best. The formula itself is GREAT, it's smooth and creamy and comparable to the Smashbox on application. That I'll give 5 stars for.

Decent liner with two small flaws
Overall, this is a good waterproof eyeliner. The pencil is a true black color, and has a soft tip so it does not pull as you line your eye. It does require frequent sharpening, though. I would have preferred if it was the type of liner where you twist the pencil to have more product come out. I felt that the staying power was pretty, good over my eyelid-- but I did have some bleeding of the product by the outer corners of my eyes-- more than I typically have with my usual liner. That being said, this is a decent black liner. I could see myself using my regular liner, and then keeping this in my purse or at work for touch-ups.

Lise water white eye pencil
Disappointed with this eyeliner. This must be an older model, white is generally used on the waterline to open up the eyes. However, it did not go on smoothly and didn't stay on at all. I have used other white liners with better success and cost less. Expected more from Elise Watier brand. Would not recommend this pencil for the waterline. Dianne, Canada ????????

Great Pencil, but the price...
I have used Lise Watier eye pencils for years. Lots of great colors, and the waterproof ones are pretty good. This will probably be the last L.W. pencil I buy because the price is too high. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. You end up sharpening a good third of the pencil away, so it just isn't worth it anymore.
