Good, but...
Got these to help with the overstimulation I suffer from an excess of sound. They do muffle a lot of excess noise. They won't work for me for a variety of reasons that are my problems (like weirdly shaped ears,) not these earplugs'. My biggest negative is, again, my problem. Suppressing excess sound (which these did well,) only make my constant tinnitus painfully obvious. The excess ambient sound, as oppressive as it is for me, at least distracts me from the constant whooshing of my tinnitus. If you don't have tinnitus, I would absolutely recommend these earplugs.

Can't be beat for the price
I've used these earplugs for everything from concerts to motorcycle races to cutting the lawn and they have done a great job in all cases. You do need to ensure you seat them properly in order to get the full effect, but once done they just simply work. I like this version because they have a little tab to help with extraction. If you get the type without that it can be a bit tricky to pull them out if you have XL hands like I do.

Makes loud events more bearable
I've been using this anytime I go to a concert or similarly loud event and it has really paid off. I don't have any major hearing/ear issues currently besides some ringing at times but I wanted to start being able to enjoy more events without worrying about how it will affect me long-term. These let me listen to most music while dampening it enough to not make me feel like crap afterwards.

First time using earplugs: VERY comfortable
This earplugs are my first ever and I thought they would be more uncomfortable or hard to tolerate but this wasn't the case at all with this brand. They are very comfortable and fit perfectly. The only reason I gave them 4 and not 5 stars is because I thought they would reduce more noise but I can still hear a lot with them on.

Must Have, a bit long
I don't know how I ever survived concerts without these! I got these in anticipation for a 4-day rock festival, and the difference they made was HUGE! I didn't use the neck-strap; my review is about the plugs themselves only. Pros: * Clear sound * Filters noise / reverb / crowd - The best I can describe this is to compare it to when a car stereo is too loud and as a result the end of the sounds are "clipping" with a bit of fizz. Live shows suffer this problem, too, and these earbuds really filter that out. I can hear the vocalist so much better and it tunes out the sounds of the immediate surrounding crowd, to, so no more ear bleeds from that girl with the high pitched fangirl shriek. * Felt like the vocals were crisper and easier to hear (Vocals always sound overshadowed at live shows for me) * Still can converse with those around me * Snug fit; I don't worry about them falling out. Cons (User error?): * The pegs are a bit long, and I feel like sometimes if I push them in so that I don't feel them slipping, it hurts. * When I'm eating they start to push out, which is a ticklish sensation (Could be I've got them too far in my ears to start with) * Until I got used to them, they left my ears a little raw (After 8+ hours of wear though this is probably expected for baby's first concert earplugs) * Not the most pleasant to remove; you really want to make sure you get that twist going and you pull slowly; sometimes one of the flaps starts to bed backwards and creates a catching sensation; seems to only be a problem with prolonged (4+ hours) wear.

Ear protection
I like the dance floor but not the ringing in my ears the next day. I bought these for a vacation. The pocket case made it easy to link these to a chain around my neck. Easy access. Always with me. Made the vacation so much more fun. Popped them in when I realized I would be in a loud place for more than a minute. I was still able to hear my friends when they talked. And felt better the next morning. No ringing in my ears.

Standard fit seems too small
I've had this brand ear plug before and have always worn the standard fit. These are quite loose in the ear which defeats the point. Of course they have been in my ears now so I cannot send them back, and Amazon don't seem to stock the large ones. As always, custom fit ear plugs are far superior to any off the shelf item and I think it's time for me to finally contact ACS to get ear impressions taken and a custom set made.

Really comfotable noise reduction
Really nice earplugs for gig-going and very comfortable. You have to choose a size to fit though, having never seen them in real life, or they may not block all the sound. If I can buy a pair of Sony in-ear earphones with three different sizes of bulb to fit my ear as standard, I can't see why they don't sell this with both "large" and "standard" included for a tiny amount more. I suspect that I need a large, instead of a standard, but do I want to take a punt on that for another £20? Probably not. Lastly, I found it far easier to remove the little plastic clips and string and just use them as-is. All in all, recommended, but make up your mind on your ear canal size first.

Replacement for some older ones
Purchasing again as my previous ones had got a bit tired over a number of events the last few years. Nice hesitation purchasing these, my ears never ring after gigs, so am sure they will do wonders for me later in life.

Disappointing, might be better for you.
I liked the name, model type, description and delivery. Price was a bit on the high side, but the advertising promise was enough to tempt me. Perhaps because the units were smaller than I was led to believe, they went straight into contact with my eardrums without good side contact into my ears. This resulted in no perceptible reduction in sound level. Got a full refund on the basis that they didn't work as promised.

Cheap, discrete and good NRR ratio.
Good earplugs! Compared to the foam ones, the sound is much better, you can follow a conversation without problems even in noisy environments. The NRR is not the best, for example in the theatre or in concerts it can still be a bit loud, so I'd recommend another model. Comfortable, very easy to insert and remove and discrete, nobody will notice you're wearing them. A good choice for noisy (but not super loud) places or just to isolate yourself for the environment.
