Perfect skate shoe

These are the best skate shoes I’ve bought since I was 13 and got my first pair which were etnies Calli-cut. I’m 25 now and have bought numerous pairs of converse, vans, Supras, and pumas. None come close to these. If you have a slightly wider foot like I do, the sizing and comfort is spot on. I’m only buying Calli-cut etnies from now on.

Finally!

I've been looking for shoes like the ones I have for YEARS. The collar is super soft, and the shoes are wide. It took a lot of tries to find these because I need that type of cushion on the sides and back. I am so glad that I finally found these shoes! These are very comparable to the Harsh brand, which are no longer as padded or as comfortable. These are a big more pricey, but seem to be made of better quality material. The only downside is that the tongue is not as long as other skater shoes I've had, but I can definitely live with these. Happy.

Looks good, excellent cost/durability ratio

Bought these to skate in and wear around. The sole that Etnies puts on these shoes have been around for 20+ years I’d say. They are great to skate in, super durable yet thin enough that you can still feel the board, I love skating in these shoes. Nearly 45 now though so I ended up putting an insert for some more cushion. The uppers start to wear quick though if your doing tricks, especially kick flips. There are others shoes out there that have more durable uppers but you will pay more for them and the soles are pretty thick. So being that the cost/durability ratio is excellent, they ride well and they look great, I gave them 5 stars.

Great but shoes sixe to big

I love these so much but I hate how I payed for 9.5 and my husband with 11.5 shoes can fit them but I can. Order on the small size 2 sizes down.

They've Improved

These shoes a extremely uncomfortable, downright painful to wear even. The lace holes up on the front of the shoe dig into the top of my foot - I might try stuffing padding in there or something. It's unfortunate because I think they look great and they fit well, but they really really hurt my feet so I never wear them. UPDATE 1/5/21: the shoes are much more comfortable now. They need to be broken in a bit apparently. I use them as slip-on shoes for going short distances or car rides, and they don't seem to bother my toes anymore. I would not trust them for long walks or for wearing all day long though.

A bit too tight

Shoes were super tight down in toe area they did loosen up bit after wearing them for a week but still a bit tight...wasn’t able to file for a return because the mailman never scanned it off so it still said out for delivery. All in all 4/5 love the look, great shipping speed, just need one size bigger or a better mailman.

*PERFECT SHOES FOR WIDE FEET

I bought these shoes for a very reasonable price in late spring. I have worn etnies since my early teen years and have always felt comfortable in them. For some reason, perhaps because of availability in Canada, I had stopped wearing them for about a decade. I decided in early spring that I needed some new kicks and found these on Amazon.ca for. like I say, a very reasonable price. When they arrived in the mail, I immediately tried them on. They look even better in person! Something I have struggled with nearly my entire life, is having regular shoes or hockey skates fit properly and comfortably. My feet are pretty wide. I have always had to order custom hockey skates because my feet were simply too wide for skates you buy off the shelf. Shoes are a little bit easier, but I still couldn't wear any kind of shoe I found. When I was a teenager, I skateboarded and therefore, owned several pairs of skate shoes. Most were always generous in fitting. However, now that I am older, my arches have fallen and my feet are even wider now. I have continued to buy skate shoes because they are the most comfortable shoes to wear day to day. I may not skateboard anymore, but I still buy skate shoes. When I slipped on these etnies calli-cut shoes, blue / red / white - size 11, they immediately felt great. I did purchase a shoe-tree / shoe stretcher around the same time, and I have stretched these ones for about 24 hours, and as a result, they feel incredible. These are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have owned in my entire adult life. I wore these shoes ALL summer long because I could spend the entire day in them and my feet were comfortable, and did not overheat through the hot summer days. I love these shoes and am looking to buy more styles of the calli-cut, perhaps in green . yellow and hopefully in white / black / red. I can't wait to wear these again next spring!

Comfy after a few weeks

These look great, it took a while for them to be comfortable as they were quite rigid at first at the front (hence 4 stars instead of 5) and pinched a little as my feet tried to flex when walking, but now they've softened a bit with use, they're very comfortable and I'd buy them again. So far they're lasting OK.

Ernie’s are awesome hadn’t had a pair in a while , the color is more orange and black then the pic . Picture looked more blue and yellow
