Sturdy product, unfortunate packaging

Sturdy product. Does exactly what it is intended to do. They decided to sendthe extension with the nut and bolt inside the receiving hole of the extension is unfortunate. Since the nut and bolt were not together they wedge themselves together making it extremely difficult to get out. Spent 30 mins banging against my new extension because I couldn't use it without the nut and bolt. The company should out the nut and bolt together if they are going to ship it in this manner.

Definitely fits a 43cc Powermate

This fit fine on my 43cc Powermate Auger from HD. Now I can dig holes for fenceposts up to about 54" deep. I'd prefer some kind of quick-release cotter pin verses the bolt and locking nut that are included but I'll replace that later. The fit between the existing power-head and drill bit is snug but not tight so there's been no problem removing/installing it. I assume so long as it doesn't rust terribly this extension should easily outlast the other components in the system.

Great piece, well built.

I bought this because I needed to get deeper than my stock harbor freight auger would dig. It is thicker metal than the Harbor Freight auger. The bolt was the wrong size but I knew that before buying through the reviews I read. I am very satisfied and I would highly recommend this auger extension.

My husband need something to help him when he goes hunting and this is light weight and works perfectly and he loves the fact it folds up for storage once he reaches his deer stand

OEM product for Eskimo Gas Augers

This is an OEM product for Eskimo Gas Power Augers. It has an input/output shaft size 7/8 inch. Gives an extra 12 inches of hole depth but also raises the powerhead up to a level that might be awkward for some people. A little pricey for what it is but other suitable extensions are similarly priced.
