Pretty good
This hair dryer blows strong and is quieter than other hair dryers I’ve had. The only negative is the placement of the on/off switch location on the handle. I’m constantly turning it off by mistake while blow drying my hair because the switch is right where my thumb placement is.

Not really super lightweight/handle kind of short
I just bought this to replace a typical Conair dryer that died....This is not any more lightweight than the Conair was..in fact it is heavier. It does a very good drying job and I like the controls...Even better job when you use the concentrator which helps prevent frizzing up your entire head. What I do not like is that I think that handle/shaft is too short - I am a slender woman and do not have huge hands....however.... during drying the off button section is too close to my hand and unless i "choke down" on the grip I keep on turing the dryer off... I think this is a design flaw. Bought thi becaue of Wirecutter review but not sure that a new Conair would not be just as good at probably half the price. This does seem to be a better quality however...not sure how much that matters.

Best blow dryer
I don't know what it is about this blow dryer, but it is the best one I've ever used in more than 40 years!

relatively light weight for the drying power and not too loud
The weight is not bad and power is very good. The only things I didn't like was the lack of packaging for a product of this price range, and the controls are placed in the wrong area for my taste.

Overall, great dryer, but a bit louder than my other Rusk W8less
I've used this exact brand/model hair dryer for the last 15+ years (original one purchased elsewhere). I chose this dryer many years ago because the sound is much lower than other dryers (similar to salon hair dryers). Mine finally gave out after 15 years, so I purchased this one from Amazon (identical make/model to the one I had). This one sounds different (a bit higher pitched), but still not the annoying high-pitched sound of many hairdryers on the market. I would recommend it. It gets good and hot and also has a medium and cool option to suit all needs.

Best I Ever Had
I'm in my mid thirties and had to dry my hair all my life. This is the best hair dyer I ever used. I ordered 2 different brands because I wasn't sure at first, and even though the color isn't my favorite (looks like it's been living with a chain smoker - white going yellowish) the results were undeniable. I love how it fits comfortably in my hand, it's light, quieter than any other, faster than any other and makes my hair look great. Honestly my hair looks better using this dryer than any other. I'm in love!

Amazing dryer
Powerful air, with a nice range of temperatures and flows, and an easy-button for temporary cool which I use a lot. The dryer is light and easy to use. I like the relatively narrow opening on the attachable linear flow director. I'm not sure about the ions thing but I do believe my hair is smoother after using this. My only complaint is that it is tricky to position my thumb so that I don't toggle the temp-down switch when I'm trying to turn it off instead. Overall I am so happy with this that after I bought one for work, where I mostly shower, I bought a second one for home.

Quiet, good quality
Purchased several months ago, to replace an expensive T3 dryer that was poorly constructed (plug cracked within months, my husband replaced; a couple years later the housing cracked and the dryer eventually just broke to pieces). The Rusk seems to dry my hair quickly and relatively quietly. Good cord length. One of the better hair dryers I think I’ve owned over my 60+ years, and as long as it holds up better than the T3, I’ll be very happy.
