Decent
It seems to be a decent wheelchair cushion, it's just a yellow foam square with a cover on it, that doesn't seem like you can remove the cover easily (even though there's a zipper) due to the fact that the cover is so tightly over the foam cushion, and it seems like if you removed the cover the cushion might get a little damaged...but otherwise it's an okay temporary cushion. Fits an 18in wheelchair seat perfectly.

Gives you that extra few inches to get out of lower chairs
Firm yet comfortable cushion which makes getting out of a lower chair much easier, if you have leg issues. I’m recovering from a broken ankle and this is exactly what I needed so I could get out of the wheelchair using one leg, or at church / restaurant so I could get out of seat without assistance. Note this is meant to raise you up, it is not meant to cushion your office chair. It is none the less comfortable. Highly recommend. Getting my father one since he has bad knees.

A Solid Entry-Level Cushion
I was between preferred options in terms of more advanced cushions and really needed to get something that could work for my daily wheelchair use. This Essential Medical Supply Rehab 1 Cushion with Higher Density for Additional Support is an affordable entry-level option that is probably best for those with very basic cushion needs. For those who need stronger support to prevent pressure sores, this is not a viable option. This is an 18"x16" cushion that fits nicely in my wheelchair. It's 4" thick and this is what I've been used to and really needed. This is also an Amazon's Choice. The fill material is foam. The cover is machine washable. If you're someone who needs basic cushion support, I think this is a tremendous option. It's soft but also has some firmness to it. I had some difficulty using it in the wheelchair as I transfer by holding onto the chair and I found this cushion had a little too much give to it. While it's considered a "medical" cushion, I'm not sure I see it as effective for a wheelchair user other than, perhaps, those who are primarily stationary and don't have active lifestyles. I find it reasonably comfortable for short-term use, however, on the occasions I've used it for an entire work day I've been less happy with it. For those sitting in chairs at home or office chairs, I can definitely see this being an effective and affordable option. Overall, I found this to be a decent short-term option but I was definitely happy when I was able to move to a more customized cushion specific to my support needs. However, this cushion from Essential Medical is a solid entry-level cushion for basic support needs that don't involve pressure sores or ulcers.

Great product
Just had hip revision surgery. The pillow has been very useful. Light weight enough to carry around won my walker, but firm enough to support my body when sitting on a chair. Well worth the investment!

Excellent Wheel Chair Cushion

I bought this after speaking to a gentleman at physical therapy who is in a wheelchair. I was commenting to him my difficulty in getting out of my chair and he said to try this, what a difference it has made, no more having to strain to get up.

cushion for transfer wheelchair
the cushion is comfortable the only draw back was it sliding out of place and needed frequent adjusting. we fixed the problem by putting Velcro on the bottom of cushion and on chair seat.

Justo lo que buscaba!
Estaba buscando un cojín para silla normal para un adulto mayor, ha sido de gran utilidad para dar mayor altura a la silla y le aporta comodidad. Tiene una funda de color oscuro. Hasta el momento no se ha deformado. Lo recomiendo!

No me funcionó
Es un cuadro de hule espuma forrado, pero por el precio está bien. En mi caso no me sirvió para usarlo en una silla de oficina porque queda muy alto y me limitaba los movimientos. Al final resultaba más incómodo. Me parece que para hacer ejercicio donde haya que usarlo para hincarse quedaría perfecto.

works well but pricey
got this to help me get more comfortable on various office chairs at work, as I am too tall for the height of the chairs. Does that job well enough, but seems like a 15 dollar price might have been more appropriate.
