Adorable!

A birthday gift for my daughter. It appears to be very functional while being adorable! The tin roof will stop squirrels from poaching the peanut butter from the birds. Description is very accurate.

Cheap material

When I first touched this product, I could tell right away that it wasn't real wood. It's very lightweight so it almost feels like styrofoam so if it's actually wood, it's the cheapest, most hollow form of wood you can find. It's very small too and a small jar of peanut butter hangs out of it (see pic). Time will tell how fast it falls apart in the weather and rain. Disappointed. I will make another out of real scrap wood I have around. Update: even though I tried to tie the jar onto the feeder I came out in the morning and the jar fell out onto the floor. This is going back!

Squirrel feeder

Loose mounting on tree. But it held a jar ok. And it's just to watch squirrels and birds compete for the food.

Not finished for yard use

While I like the concept of this feeder, there were two things that I didn’t care for at all. 1) it was not adjustable. Only the larger more expensive jars will fit in this snugly. 2) It was not sealed from the weather. I have no idea as to how long it is expected to last without being sealed, but I sure didn’t want to find out!!!!

clever design makes it simple to attach to a tree or fence or a pole , but the only thing i was disappointed in , does not have a perch for the birds so i had to modify that that myself , other than that good product , does what it was designed to do

Works pretty good

This house works pretty good, only bad thing this there's nothing there for the bird/critter to stand on. So I added a small perch for them ,even though they forbidden to like the accompanying peanut butter

Deer love it :)

I put it out for the birds but the deer got it first. Actually I love seeing the tongue marks and the bird marks. Great entertainment

Birds like it

Great but really needs a little perch. I used one of the shims that I used to hold the jar secure and let it stick out a bit. I also had to alter the feeder so I could hang it away from grey squirrels, but that is not the manufacturers fault.

Looks can be deceptive.

I bought three, & after only a short while fixed up in the garden all three had to be rebuilt as they’d fallen apart. Manufacturer: don’t even bother making things if you can’t take pride in your work! I try to support makers during these hard times but this sort of thing makes me feel like going back to DIY as obviously my efforts aren’t appreciated.

Very poor

Shoddy in its build. The wood to the underside of the roof was split. Nail that keeps the zinc roof in place was hanging out. The sticker on the roof did not just peel off: I had a devil of a job getting it off. All in all not a good buy.

rusty roof

Product quality is debatable. The wooden part is excellent however the metal roof is not. I had it up and after one small rain shower the roof rusted in a couple of days. That lovely silver roof is now brown and red and flaking. would prefer it not to have a roof.

Birds love peanut butter

Very good buy, well made , it took the birds a while to get used to it, but now seems to be just the job. Highly recommended.
