Looks good on door-unique look on front door.

I love woodpeckers! Received as a gift and very pleased. The item is quite heavy and well made. I think this would be a great addition to a rustic home in a wooded area.

Turn it birds head down...sounds more like a knocker

It is a really cute, heavy knocker. We turned it so the birds head points down so ot sounds more like a door knocker.

No screws included

The bird is cute and it’s loud....why doesn’t it come with matching screws? Silly me to think it would have those...Obviously I missed that somewhere.

sturdy, and easy to install

It's cute, sturdy, and easy to install. But when you use it, you knock the patina right off to reveal a silver metal underneath which ruins the effect.

More Decorative Than Funtional

We bought this item as a wedding gift for a couple who enjoys the outdoors. I fell in love with it when seeing it online. It was everything we hoped for (a decoration), but makes for a very awkward door knocker. It's sturdy and definitely worth purchasing if you only want to use it for show and enjoy nature or birds.

Cute door knocker

Really cute and my doorbell stopped working and I thought this was a great replacement. Only reason not 5 stars is I didn't receive any matching screws so I doesn't look the best.

Very cute

I get lots of compliments because of this door knocker. I like the mottled effect which means it goes nicely with my green door, and I think its quite funny. Good quality and clever design. It is just a little heavy and quite loud which isn't necessarily a bad thing but I wouldn't call it discrete.

Great Knocker

This knocker was a good value price and does the job really well. It is tempting to use the beak as the knocking end, but just lifting the tail as in an conventional knocker works very well. Nice size, fits onto a panelled door. Just two screws needed. Ornamental as well as practical.

Woodpecker door knocker

Although this seems to be well made, the actual design is not really the best for use as a door knocker. I feel that I want to turn it upside down in order to knock in the usual way!
