Would never wear it again on a motorcyle, but...
Decent comfort, but definitely not something you want to wear on a motorcycle for sun protection if you're not wearing a helmet. I can't wear helmets due to a neck injury, so I keep my eyes open for headgear for sun protection. This head wrap has to stay wet in order to do its job, but on a motorcycle, it dries out within 20 minutes, making it hard and uncomfortable. Once I got to where I was going and re-wet it, it worked just fine and was comfortable to wear.

It’s OK.
It dries very stiff. To activate the cooling you have to put a fair amount of water on it. By the time you ring out the excess, you are essentially putting a wet cloth on your head. You really can’t wear it unless you soak it and if you can’t deal with a wet cap on your head, don’t buy this one. If you are bald you will probably feel the cooling effect but with a good head of hair, not so much. It’s OK, I still wear it.

Keeps you cool
I use this under my motorcycle helmet. It kept me cool on 100+ degree days. At 50-80mph it is almost too cold. There were times when my forehead started to ache a little bit because it was so cold, on a 105 degree day! I really couldn't ask for more! This is not a good option if you are not going to put water on it. When the pad that holds the water in dries, it becomes very stiff. I do not know if this will continue after it's been used for a long time, but as it is it's almost useless dry. It works great when there's water on it!

If your head is hot you need this. I don't use it to ride. Can't imagine it would be much different than your own sweet, which is already present.

It's not your typical doo rag, though the pictures make it appear so. It's basically bandanna folded in half with a cooling jell sheet sewn in. The jell sheet is triangular in shape and covers your forehead completely from temple to temple, then tapers back to a point at the back of your head. You tie it on a square knot to hold it securely once fitted. A good soaking is required to get it to conform to your head shape. Trying to fit it dry is not going to work well. The funny part is once you get it wet and fitting to your liking, it keeps that shape when it dries out. As in, it becomes hard like a helmet. lol To reactivate it, I soak it with the hose, and wad it up once it starts to soften. It takes a little time to get it to the right shape again, but the jell holds the moisture and cools your head for about 5 hours on 100+ degree days, so you don't have to go through it too often. Soaking your entire head, bandanna and all with the hose works too. Buy with confidence. These are well made, unlike the early versions. They aren't going to fall apart anytime soon, and even if they did, sewing it back together would be a snap. Hell, you could even take it apart and sew the jell pad into your own bandanna if they don't have a pattern you like.

Cloth + advance PVA material = great relief for autoimmune sufferers during heat
Please note this is a DIFFERENT product than theErgodyne Chill-Its 6710 Evaporative Cooling Triangle Hat, Solid Blue which is just a cloth. The 6710CT has a layer of PVA material inside that activates quickly when soaked in cold water for a minute or so. It stays cool and takes away the heat from your skin wherever it is placed. This makes all the difference. If you get really warm in the summer, your head retains all the heat without releasing any through sweating and you feel like your brain temperature is 100+degrees, give this a try. Many autoimmune and/or neurologic disease sufferers do not do well with heat. I use this in two ways a) as indicated on my head, PVA side tightly resting on my forehead NOT above my hairline. This way conduction helps cool the brain through the forehead and in 2-5min or so you feel like a different person. You can think more clearly, your are not as jittery, your entire body temperature seems to drop. Yes, you will look like a smurf but you will be able to function. Now what is more important? The second way I use it is by rolling it up, large PVA side facing out and I use it as a neck scarf. By the same mechanism it cools my neck and all nerves and blood passing through that area, helping bring my temperature down. I literally go nowhere without it in the summer, along with a travel size spray bottle filled with water to create some evaporation on skin areas not covered by clothing. Godsend!

Its ok, wont last as long as you think
The cooling skull cap is a good idea i wouldnt say it last very long in hot weather but can always re-submerge in water to keep effects going. any kind of damp cloth on your head in the summer heat feels nice, this is basically what this is but last a little longer , can be kind of stiff and not great looking but still think it ok. quite nice as cold compress when you have a headache

Almost but not quite worth it.
Either I have a huge head or this bandana is kind of small, or the triangle of pva fabric sewn inside the triangle of cloth is slightly too cumbersome to get a stylish fit. I did get it on cycling a couple of times and it did keep me cool in the peak of summer. But I got a few funny looks. Oh and don't wear it at the beach, the saltwater drips down into your eyes ????. I do still use it at home sometimes if I am doing an intense work out, because I know I can pour more water on and towel down right afterwards.

Light cooling option
It definitely helps, it does help keep cooler. Wetting more often helps but I was expecting something more in contact with your head ie it may need weighting down somehow. Helps to have shorter hair.
