EXCEEDS ALL EXPECTATIONS! COMFORT MEETS DURABILITY MEETS USEFULNESS!

In my job the company does provide hard hats because certain areas I have to inspect or investigate requires their use. However, you never know who else has worn them and they are NOT comfortable at all. Often the inside head netting isn't installed properly (one poked and cut my scalp OUCH)! So I invested in this SKULLERZ by Ergonomics! Absolute excellent, lightweight, super durable, super comfortable vented hard hat! (Now all my supervisors want one! LOL!) The inside head netting is cushioned and coated with a durable sweat absorbent microfiber fabric. It sits well on the head, is very easily adjustable and can even be worn over other hats if need be! It's hard and durable though lighter weight than those that the company uses. Worth the money invested! I would love to have a brighter headlamp but the one that comes on it is sufficient and has come in very handy in my night shift job of security inspections of electric and water facilities. The hard hat does come with a built in secondary bracket to install another head lamp on the back of the helmet though I have yet to try that. The small switch on the top of the headlamp was at first a little hard to locate and to turn on but that just comes with time. The head lamp does have two settings. Otherwise, the SKULLERZ is an excellent, comfortable, lightweight but super durable helmet! It protected my head from a falling tree limb just recently so I can say with experience: IT DOES IT'S JOB!

Better hard hat than what was issued

I was looking for a better fitting hard hat than the MSA one I was issued. The suspension system in the Ergodyne is much more comfortable with its pad on the top and across the front. Way better at absorbing sweat, keeping it out of my eyes. Also it holds Ergodyne and Kline Tools head lamps directly on the shell. I bought the Kline Tools light separately and use it daily at work. The closing vents allow more air flow as well.

Comforatable

4 Stars because it was missing the light, package was open. However, Amazon was awesome, I called them up and they credited me for the cost of the light so I could order the same light separately. My recommendation is to order both hat and light separately to minimize a missing item in a combo set like this. As to the Hardhat, fits comfortably and securely. Place on your head and turn the knob in the back to secure it to your head. It does not feel like a vise and stays on snugly. I'm using it to work around the perimeter of the house when doing projects and when I have to go into crawl spaces where one can hit their head on an object. It is vented, so it is great when working in the sun and it lets your scalp breathe while protecting you from direct sunlight.

Outstanding.

Great comfort and protection, very rigid shell. Removable padding is easy to clean and wicks sweat well. Headlamp is a Klein that is very bright and reliable, however takes AAA cells - just get rechargeables. My only wish is that there was an internal powered fan option for this Texas heat.

Comfortable hardhat

Have used this hard hat for about a month now. Was eager to get this hoping that it wore cooler than traditional hat. Unfortunately it doesn’t wear as cool as I hoped due to additional padding installed in cage, main purpose being as added sweat retention. It is a very comfortable hard hat. I saw other negative reviews prior to purchase, having to do with rear of cage swiveling. Honestly don’t see it as a problem, it doesn’t cause any issues through act of wearing it, and actually like the fact it swivels when not in use so it sits in natural upright position. This will remain to be my primary hardhat through summer and fall, and will see how it holds up over time.

I should have bought this when I started!

This is a quality product and at a good price compared to comparable products. By far the best feature of this hardhat is the padded, cool, comfortable, ingenious support structure in the hard hat. I can't stress enough how comfortable this hat is compared to what I used to wear.

Looks Great, Fits Small

This hardhat is rated for 53cm – 63.5cm, but fits rather small on my 60 cm head. I've played with the cribbing adjustment positions enough to make it comfortable, however at the slightest bump the back of the hardhat comes in direct contact with the back of my skull. I love the design and padding of this hardhat, but I don't think I can safely use it on the jobsite.

Super uncomfortable

I've got a big head, do not get it if you have a big head. Tried to adjust everything, and it just made it so the damned thing rested the plastic against my big head. The light is powered by... triple A batteries? Either AAA or AAs. Was expecting for the price to have at least a usb chargeable battery. Altogether, not a bad unit if you don't have a weird big head like I do. I just have a pyramex wide brim and it's lasted me for two years, I'd get that if you have a big head.

Good customization. However, not comfortable.

Was able to customize it for a nice fit, however there is some piece that just seriously digs into your head when you start tightening the hat. Eventually you get used to it because the spot gets numb. Quite useless unless you want to wear it completely loose for whatever it is to not dig into your head.

Great hard hat

Like the wide brim and ventilation slots. Great idea with the added light holders. Has a good inner suspension system with the availability of getting fresh sweat bands and center piece. Dislikes for this product. It's a fairly heavy hat and very pricey.

So comfortable I forget I have it on!

This hardhat is so lightweight and balanced that I forget I have it on! The padding inside and vents on each side make for a cool, comfortable fit. I have a whiplash injury between C1 and C2 so this is saying a lot that I literally forget I have it on! The rear strap falls quite low and is sticky enough to grip but not so much as to ever pull my hair (I have hair down to below my hips but I wear it up in a bun when I wear a hardhat).
