Amazing!!!!

I do not know how I've lived my life this long without this item! This is the coolest thing I have bought in a long time. The first benefit when I installed it in my large baseball cap is that it made the front all flush and tight again. Before it had drooped in one corner and it looked really corny. So in addition to straightening out the front facing part of my cap it has turned my baseball cap into kind of a mini hard hat. I banged myself on the head with a hard hair brush and it was completely unpainful. What a great great item!

Great quality for the price

Very much worth the money. While it's quite inexpensive, the quality is good. Definitely better than what my employer provides me. Would definitely recommend.

Works great for inconspicuous head protection

I ordered my husband one because he had a concussion and continually bumped his head afterwards. He got it in yesterday, and it is perfect. It fits inside his hat, so no one can see it. It is thin enough to not add any bulk to the hat, but it is protective. He feels much more confident that his head is protected now. He has a labor intensive job, so this helps him as he works to not have a reinjury.

Great for a '47 clean up

I love me a good '47 clean up, but I also love a structured front. I might just have a weirdly shaped head, but I can't wear a dad hat without some kind of support under the front panels. I did have to trim off a little from one of the back sides where the strap attaches with a button, but it looks great.

works as advertised for small bumps

bumped my head onto a branch the other day. without this thing, would have felt the pain for sure. instead, just felt the bump without any pain. it works. only complaint sort of. not a 100% fit for my hat.

fits ballcap with little triming, but sweaty

It fits my ballcap well and looks good; with a slight trim for perfect fit (it looked okay without trimming, but I wanted it perfect ). However, it made the top of my head sweat. So I drilled a bunch of holes all along the upper surfaces, and that solved the problem.

Best purchase I have made.

Recommend this product for light protection of your noggin! Always wear a ball cap and this is a great addition. Whether working on my cars or cutting grass around trees this has added the extra protection I have been missing. I saw on a YouTube video from a mechanic and has met all expectations.

Fits in variety of hats not just ballcaps

I wanted these to put in a few of my hats I use for working around the house. Prevent the cuts and scratches when working around my car our going into my attic. I have inserted these into more than ball caps and they work very well. Given several away to friends and family. Not a hard hat. Should prevent cuts and lumps on head.

Allows you to use any baseball cap

After a little trimming down I’ve made it fit my Musto baseball cap so I can use it for dinghy sailing. Ideal and doesn’t look like a safety hat, as well as keeping your head dry which was an unexpected bonus.

Fits well, no cutting needed for men.

Let my mate give me a right ol' knock on the head and it did its job, only bought as a protective gamble for Airsoft and as far as i can see this thing is a solid piece of equipment and could definately be used as a comfortable alternative to a helmet. Mine came Grey, didnt need cutting, and fit my head perfect even over my army green balaclava ???????? if i dont update anytime soon, then this review needs no update.

Converted my favourite stylish baseball cap into protective headgear

Wow , this is such a simple idea and very cheaply converted my favourite baseball cap into protective headgear. Fitted my trailheads cap without modification. Slightly sweatier than without , but this was expected (read other reviews) and for colder days adds warmth to my summer baseball cap :) Highly recommend

Brilliant insert! Would recommend!

Brilliant insert!! The outer plastic is hard enough to stop most sharp objects and reduce impact damage. This is paired with a dense foam that further reduces impact damage and helps to provide a comfortable fit. I did have to trim the insert down slightly to fit to hat I had but the recessed line in the plastic made cutting a fairly simple job with common household scissors. Would definitely recommend!
