Works great!

I have discovered that utensils made from this composite are durable, pan-friendly and withstand the heat. My plastic utensils keep melting, wood absorbs food, and metal kills my pans. The price was more than I wanted to pay, but I suspect that i will have this utensil for a very long time.

Not Great... And Way Too Expensive for Someting I Have to Modify

I have several cutting boards made of this material and I love them. The problem that I have with this spatula is that I bought it based on my assessment from the photo. I had hoped that, after a long search, I had finally found a wooden spatula with a nice, finely-beveled edge that actually had usability. Alas, just like the others that I've purchased on this site and elswhere, this one has a thick and unmanageable edge that moves the food around clumsily and doesn't even contact the bottom of the pan smoothly. I think to make it usable, that I'm going to have to sand the edge down myself. Way too expensive for something that I have to fix just to make it usable. All of this because I'm trying to replace a 15-year old spatula that finally split and that Williams-Sonoma no longer offers. I should have returned it, but I wanted to give it a chance and now it's too late.

Really well designed and made

This material is perfect for tools and won’t scratch pans. Only wish is that cost $7 instead of $14

Very helpful!!

It’s easy to clean. Works amazing at clearing off burnt things from pans and cast iron. It also works great to flip burgers or break up ground meat.

Favorite kitchen tool

I can use this on cast iron, stainless steel, and non stick pots and pans. Easy to clean, just throw it in the dishwasher. Love the versatility of it. Great quality and durability that’s expected from Epicurean

Should have bought these from the start

Have been through many different utensil types… wood, silicon, and metal. This is by far, the best I have ever had. I have been buying all the other Epicurean utensils (spoons and more) to go with it now. Buy this. You won’t be disappointed.

Love these in the Kitchen

Originally purchased this for use with my Instant Pot, however, I find myself using most every meal; so I bought another. Works great in the cast iron skillet and oven; and doesn't melt like plastic utensils. Dishwasher-safe is a big plus as well.
