Beautiful lights and very high-quality!

What else can I say. These lights are absolutely gorgeous! I specifically bought the "vintage" series because the 2200K color temperature creates such a warm and comfortable atmosphere. But it's not just the look. The manufacturing quality is also incredibly good. I thought the "bulbs" were going to be hollow plastic, but it turns out they are solid acrylic, with a subtle bubble pattern in them that somehow manages to further enhance the overall appearance. The solid globes are heavy (in a good way) which helps keep each light hanging straight down, and the molded connection between the individual light cords and the main cord is heavy duty, but still very attractive. This gives the entire strand a nice overall sturdy feel, but the weight doesn't make it difficult to hang. Finally, I was nervous about the amount of light these strands produce given that they are only 1 Watt per bulb and they don't seem to publish the overall lumens. I am happy to say that the amount of light they give off is exactly perfect, not too bright, not too dim. These are some of the most well-made lights of any type that I have come across. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase!

Beautiful lights

The most beautiful string lights I ever had. The only downside is a thick heavy cable. I realize it was designed to expand the sections, but it still, weighs too much and looks too massive.

Really nice lighting for my pergola

I bought 3 strings of the 48 foot lights to cover my free standing pergola. Overall it came out looking great and the lights seem very sturdy. The brightness and warm white color are very nice and are exactly what you want for a golden glow outdoors. Although I didn't use it this way I can tell by the color that these would be great for casting long distance runs over a back yard in a cafe/bistro type of setup also. Previous to this I had tried solar powered lights and they were so dim by comparison to these. One thing that might be a concern for some is they are quite bright and they don't have options to be connected to a dimmer. For me personally I don't mind this but the lights are bright and this may be a concern for some who don't like it quite as bright as I do.

Bought 2 already, Buying more soon

I use these amazing lights all the time. As a musician they are always in my car's trunk ,ready to jazz up (so to speak) any stage. The "glass" is amazingly thick and strong; the light is warm and visually pleasant. I tell all my friends to spend the extra money to buy these. You'll get something that will last a lifetime, rather than a cheap and disappointing product. My band, Boxcar, uses them in our videos too and they work great. The strand wire is thick and reassuring. I plan on ordering these for the backyard and just leaving them out there, I know that they are outdoor heavy duty. At 11 Watts for the whole strand I don't worry about them drawing too much power. Love Love Love these lights!!

Not a Lifetime bulb

Well I have had these lights for about 3.5 years now. Today I see that a bulb is out and I am unable to find any info on the ability to replace a bulb. Please do not advertise as "lifetime" or "never have to replace a bulb again" when that is clearly not true. Looking at some other reviews I see that I am clearly not the only one who is unable to replace a "lifetime bulb". Now if that were indeed true I would be a very happy camper. It makes me nuts to see one bulb in the middle of my chain dead!!!

Sturdy, heavy duty lights.

These light look great, and I’m really happy with them. No more fragile incandescent bulbs! However, they are pretty heavy duty, so if you are looking for something a bit more dainty, these might not be right for you. Also, it wasn’t as clear to me from the photos (or I didn’t look close enough) but the LED lights are not that “Edison” light bulb look; they are more like clear with some bubble textures at the base. They look great on the house, but up close they may seem more modern than vintage to some people. But if you are looking for a solid string of lights that have the build quality that seem like they will hold up over the years, these are good options.

Beautiful and durable lights

I bought the amazon refurbished ones and I love them so far. Others have complained that water gets in them but that hasn’t been the case for me. I bought one of the longer runs and they are very heavy, so I ended up buying a cable to hang them from. If you don’t it’s hard to keep it from drooping. They seem very heavy duty which is why I bought them. It hails here at least once or twice a year and I wanted them to be a permanent set up. I paired it up with a smart outlet and my google home mini and it works like a charm. Puts off a nice warm glow, and not too bright either. I would definitely recommend them.

Great warm string light in attractive vintage style

I have 2 sets of this white Vintage Cafe String Lights which I attached to my house under the eaves and on the gutters, as well as on an aerial wire strand from the gutters to a cedar tree in my backyard. They look great at night and light up the area quite well; not too bright, just enough to create a nice ambience on my patio and deck. For bright lighting I use a street lamp I also purchase via Amazon. I also have a 48 foot 24 light black Cafe String Light which I attached to the chimney and an aerial wire strand to a spruce tree and then onwards to another cedar tree on the other side of my patio and yard. The black version is not vintage style and has a whiter light; not as warm yellow at the white vintage version. Both provide great ambient lighting at night. In the picture, the black version is on the left side and the white version on the right side of the chimney.

Quality and brightness

I gave it 5 stars because we can't give 6 stars... I absolutely love those lights. They are well made, heavy and you are not afraid to broke them. I bought these for my fence, to bring light in my tiny backyard when I use my little pool at night. I also bought a pool light but I will return it because these string lights are so beautiful and bright, they illuminate perfectly all my little pool. And the white light color is so warm and romantic. Perfect for me in my pool at night. Thank you!
