I LOVE these shoes.
Fast shipping and they fit perfectly. I tried them on, walked around my house before putting them away for safe keeping until the day of my wedding when I get married to my future Husband.

Cute style but narrow toe opening
Got these for a Halloween costume. Loved the style and loved that they came in a size 14 however the narrow toe opening made them uncomfortable and had to take them off within a few hours

Costume Quality
As a brand Ellie seems to be a carbon copy of the more ubiquitous Pleaser. I've often heard complaints about Pleaser running small, which I have found to be largely overstated except in a few cases, and cheaply made. Regarding this last point there can be no argument, though of course Pleaser's shoes, like Ellie's are also quite cheaply acquired (especially on Amazon). I have the Pleaser version of this shoe, albiet in black premuim and a size larger than I needed (BIG mistake). To be hoenst I have heard some drag queens say the prefer Ellie, but this pair was kind of disappointing as far as quality goes. It DOES have a better sole than any of the Pleaser pairs I own, and seems to assume you may walk somewhere OTHER than just a stage which is nice. Textured rubber beats hard plastic for soles any day in my opinion. The stitching however is really uneven and childish (Hey, they ARE made in China). Glue has been quite sloppily applied as well. Despite these flaws, they are only noticable upon sloe inspection. These are functional shoes, and this pair at least seemed true to size, if not a tad TOO big for my size range. What make the punps with ankle straps a real bargain is that on both this and the Pleaser model, the straps can easily be slid out of the loops at the back (leather on this shoes, but Elastic on the Pleaser model), so you do get two looks for one which is kind of nice.

Totally gorgeous! But a pain in the toes
The toebox is smaller than I'm used to. I don't know what about them makes them so tight on the toes, but these took a lot of breaking in before they were comfortable, and I wouldn't even say they're comfortable. But they look amazing, they're totally gorgeous and I get a ton of compliments, so the pain is worth it.

Beautiful shoes, good price.
These shoes are a beautiful shade of red, I guess I'd call it lipstick red. They're simple, but the strap makes them stand out.

fits as expected!
I ordered these for a 50s themed wedding, the bride wants all the bridal party to dress as such. I usually wear a 7.5-8.5 depending on the brand and sizes available. They are a little high for me but definitely fit the occasion. I have been working on breaking them in because they were very stiff when they came in. They are great quality for the price and occasion!
