NOT a pull DOWN. NOT braided nylon hose.

I had to pick a star rating but if I didn't use the product, how do I rate it? You should add a rating for the product description. Wanted to use it as a kitchen faucet but the incorrect description is misleading. I understand that sometimes they use the same picture for different versions of basically the same faucet so I wasn't concerned that I saw the metal hose. It might work for some but not me.

Looks good, works well

Installed LKAV4061LS Elkay Avado in laundry room with Elkay ELG252212PDWH0 white quartz composite sink. Works well. Swivels on base, and has spray or stream settings using a switch at the head. Head unclips from horizontal positioning bar to allow movement to wherever you want it. Hot or cold arranged by right or left movement of lever at base and volume by forward or back movement. Flow is fine. Water lines to shut-offs under cabinet only just reached because valves are at right bottom of cabinet, not centered. Elkay customer care promptly replied to a couple of questions. Far right photo, spray setting with lever at base positioned for very hot. Middle photo stream setting with lever positioned for very cold. Faucet defaults to stream setting when turned off, which is fine for me as it is the setting I use most. The “about this item” listing says: DURABLE AND FLEXIBLE NYLON BRAIDED HOSE. Maybe that is there, but as photos show, the visible hose is in a metal spring-like sheath. Time will tell how well it holds up. All parts arrived in good shape. USPS failed to deliver (said it was oversized) - had to go to Post Office myself to pick up.

Solidly built and the matte black does not get grubby (we do have soft water).

I was uncertain about this faucet and which finish I wanted but opted for the black and steel combo. VERY VERY happy with this faucet. Highly recommend. Not sure what else to say: it's heavy and clearly well built, like VERY well built. It looks much better than the looser coil faucets - looks high end and sharp. Works perfectly, easy to keep clean. Practical design in every way - reaches where I need it to in the sink, and the overall size is very good too. Not "too much" even for my smaller single bowl 22x25 kitchen sink. I would definitely buy this again.

Did not install the faucet

I needed a faucet with a 90 degree, forward only handle due to space constraints. Based on part of the description for the product, I believed this was a faucet with such a handle and the style is the one we wanted. The handle is not forward only, however. It does go back to change the water temperature. I had to return the item as it would not function in the space. 3 stars because I am not sure how well it would have operated and because the description was incorrect when I purchased the faucet.

Quality Faucet and Sprayer

We tried a few different faucets from Home Depot and they all sucked. Very low quality. Then I looked on Ferguson plumbing and found this sink so I searched Amazon. Wow! $100 less on Amazon for the same sink. The sink took about 10 minutes to install and the hardware and hoses are all very high quality. I love the swivel commercial style design of the faucet and after two months we are still very happy with this faucet.

Owned 3 versions now, this by far is possibly the best of versions 1 & 2

I have now owned three versions of this faucet. The original was very heavy and solidly constructed with a squat design & vertical joy stick type operator I had for 12 years without any issues. 2nd version for another sink was a taller more slender version much like this current model, although construction was not as heavy served me well without issues. Since we recently sold that house and moved, we quickly realized how we missed this faucet from Elkay thus the reason for our most recent purchase. Not at all dissapointed with the 3rd version, it combines the best of versions 1 & 2. My sisters have owned version 2 and their hoses in spring arc failed prematurely. Being a plumber by trade, I realized they accelerated the hose failure by repeatedly pulling down on sprayer. If you can refrain from pulling it down all the time and just hold it at its intended height and moving the head it will serve you for years to come. Update: after a year with version 3 I really wish they went back to original distance from base to spout, version 3 is just too close to the corners in a double sink. Am still content with the model though.

Love it

We really love this faucet. It goes great with our stainless steel sink and it is really well made. Makes spraying water at all corners of the sink a breeze and filling up the pitchers and pots really easy.
