with that little timer you dont have to worry about burning the hot dogs
nice little machine. it cooked the dogs slowly, took 30 to 40 minutes to cook large thick sausages but at least it does not burn them. you set the timer and go about your business. it is not easy to clean though. i use a mild to medium lightly dampened SMALL piece of scotch brite square with little dish soap. and that cleans the round cooking tubes quickly without hurting the stainless steel. every so often i turn on the motor which turns the rollers around so i can clean all the sides. as long as you dont turn on the timer, the rollers will not get hot. the drip pan is a really good thing, it keeps grease or drippings in one place easy to remove the pan and clean that part. that clear plastic lid MUST be kept open because those round cooking tubes put out a ton of heat and they will WARP that clear plastic lid if you leave it closed over the cooking hot dogs. they should of made that lid metal. nice thing is it cooks slowly so there is not much if any grease splatter from the cooking hot dogd. but being able to close the lid would aid in cooking the weiners faster plus stop ANY splatter from happening. i guess any splatter would depend on what susage or hot dogs your cooking. i actually had no splatter occuring

Works as advertised
I bought this and I didn't really expect much out of it especially when I pulled it out of the box and saw how small it is. It's the size of a four slice toaster but I'm actually highly impressed with it. It Cooks brats really well. The warmer for the buns also works pretty damn good. The only reason it's got four stars instead of five is because it's kind of a pain in the butt to clean other than that it works really well.

Don't be in a hurry but it works great
This product works well. Do not be in a hurry. If you are in a hurry pull out a pot of water instead. I turn it on and place my hot dogs on the rollers and my buns in the warming area. I set the timer for the entire 30 minutes. The unit does a great job. The hot dogs are heated very nicely. The buns are warm and maybe slightly toasted around the edge. The time you may take to add your condiments the dog stays nice and hot in the middle.

Cooks the Dogs
This was a Christmas gift for my M-I-L. She loves hot dogs so when I saw a review of this on YT, I knew I had to get it for her. It being "used" was not a huge deal, the price wasn't that much better as used so I probably should of just bought it new. It did not appear to have been used though. The unit does work well, we tried it out on some brats on Christmas day and it worked as described. I would not use it on uncooked meat, just don't do it. It's pretty basic, so don't expect high tech. It's OK on the build quality, it's def not commercial, so don't expect that either. She loved it so I call that a success :)

This was a good intro a hotdog roller. Only thing is we like to buy bun length hot dogs and brats. If you do full length you will have to flip it to cook the edges.

Excitement! Then, Disappointment! (2022 Model)
I was excited about the idea of getting a hotdog toaster with a roller function. Got this little guy and went to set it up, but I immediately faced a glaring issue: the drip tray kept falling. So I fussed with it, looked at the unit, and even checked the brackets to make sure I wasn't missing anything. Nah, I wasn't. Either the tray is too small, or the brackets are too short. So of course I reached out to customer service, as I really wanted to make things work. Maybe it was the tray? Nah. It wasn't the tray. They sent me a completely new drip tray and that one fell over too. The issue with this is that grease is going to spill all over the place--if you're trying to open your unit to get the buns, there's an 80% chance that tray is going to fall--either on you as you reach for the goods, or on the goods as you open the door. So needless to say, I'm bummed. It cooks the hotdogs great and I love reaching that toasty, almost grilled finish, but with the drip tray issue I can't really enjoy it. Bummer.

Works great!
I'm very happy with this purchase. It cooks hot dogs perfectly and toasts your buns at the same time! Clean up was easy, but I would recommend cleaning it while it is still warm. The removable trays that come with it are great - they catch all the drippings from the hot dogs and are easy to clean. It also has a 30 minute timer and auto shut off feature which is very convenient. I would definitely purchase this again.

Buena opción para familia pequeña
Funciona bien y asa perfectamente las salchichas. El pan tiene que ser chico para que quepa en el hornito inferior. Es el segundo que compro, pues el primero me duró un año exacto y dejó de calentar las salchichas en los rodillos, pero para el precio y el uso que le damos, no importa que sea desechable.

Las salchichas salen con la costrita características de los carritos. La parte para los panes definitivamente viene reducida y caben 4 panes (muuuy justos). Si no tienes prisa y puedes ir poniendo por tandas, lo recomiendo. Quedan bien pero no para alguien con expectativas de uso industrial.

Muy práctico para toda la familia
Me. Gustó mucho por q es muy práctico lo podemos usar todos los miembros de la familia mi niños adoran comer hotdog y siguen las indicaciones de cuidado y solos hacen su cena se siente muy bien ver q ellos puedan desarrollar su independencia nos divertimos mucho apesar de q no es un juguete no permite hacer la cene muy divertida

No es la gran maravilla...
Lo compre pensando en que mis hijos pudieran preparar ellos mismos sus hot dogs en casa. Solo que no se asan parejo las salchichas ya que al comenzar a calentarse solo se calienta el centro, por lo que los extremos de la sachicha no entran en contacto con los tubos a los pocos minutos. Y considerar el numero de salchichas que requieres preparar, porque cuatro es muy limitado y tienes que esperar otra media hora para prepararlas.
