Certainly is heavy duty
Put two strips on a panel to hold an 11” ipad in the vertical position of a general aviation aircraft. It certainly does what it’s supposed to and the ipad (with a clear case to which the Velcro counterpart is mounted to) will nod budge even in moderate turbulence. What I didn’t consider however was that this means, that it is also difficult to separate the ipad from the panel. If I do I have to squeeze my fingers between the ipad and the panel and use my fingers to separate the Velcro. I found it’s easier to leave the clear case attached and remove the ipad from it. With that said, once you stick it to something, whatever gets velcro’d to it will stick strongly to it.

Is there anything you can't use VELCRO for?
Did you know VELCRO was developed by mistake? Well not a real mistake. It was developed by George deMestral, Seemed he wanted to develop a product which worked like burs from the Burdock that attached to his clothes and his dogs fur. That was in 1941. After that, he tried and tried to come up with something that could mimic those burs. In 1955 he took out a loan of $150,000.00 and succeeded to come up with a viable product. The VELCRO line was release and immediately fell on its face. It was when NASA found it extremely helpful holding things from floating around in space capsules. The rest is history. VELCRO is not actually a product but instead a company name. A little fiction and fact from Bob's Almanac. Now about the product. Unfortunately I'm confined to a power wheelchair. Even so, I like to continue with my hobbies. Photography was my major in college and when I left I had a Masters of Fine Art with photography. I soon made some wise decisions and I thankfully made a name in the industry. I know nothing of videography. Just a few miles from me lives a Videographer who attended college the same time I was there. Not close friends but buddies I guess you could say. I needed his help. I want to mount a couple or three action cameras to my wheelchair. Since being confined to the chair the majority of my friends have been leaving. I'm sure it's because they really don't know how to react to the chair. I want to put on digital film my daily life in the chair. I want to let my friends I haven't changed, well perhaps my height. Though I have a lot of accessories for the cameras to mount them to my chair my friend suggested some VELCRO patches which could be used on the areas less accessible to me to mount a camera, a cheap camera, be assured. Well it worked out well. We stuck a VELCRO strip just about ground level to record some footage we could use in the final film I want to make. I've been doing that since I got the strips. They worked out so well I found other uses. I go out at night in the chair. It has a thirteen mile range and fortunately my friends, my grocery store, drug store, pizza joint and we can't forget the local tavern. There are no lights on the chair. They have a kit for it but they also want to charge almost $300.00 and that doesn't include any back lights. I have a lot of flash lights in the house. A few years back I purchased here at Amazon a two pack of DURACELL flashlights. They are very powerful and when tested they get out around twenty feet producing a lot of light. They do fall off after the estimated length of twenty feet. They are so lite that I put a Velcro patch on the chair body and connected the flashlights. It worked out so well I put the other flashlight on the opposite side of my chair. Here at Amazon they have blinking tail lights but I found a good pair at Walmart. Again I cut a VELCRO patch to size and now I have back lights. My first trip out at night was a great success. Besides the street lighting I had both side lights and the tail light on. On my way back I ran into a neighbor who suggested I should get better lighting on the back. He said that in certain places there are no sidewalks and more back lighting would be better. He held me up while he rummaged around in his garage and came back with a light bar. He held it up against the back of my chair and said he could fit it properly. The problem with the bar is it isn't wired for batteries. He want's to connect it to the chair battery. I didn't tell him yet I don't want it. Besides it would void my chair warranty. So there must be other things that I can stick these VELCRO strips to. I'll update the review when I find them. This review was written without any financial incentives. I neither receive a free product nor any discounts. Full Amazon retail was paid. I enjoy writing these product reviews and I sure hope you enjoy reading them. Strong
I love the strips they were. They stayed well and they’re holding up some of the tools in the garage. When you pull them off, it kind of took a little bit of the drywall off but I guess that’s to be expected. Or I guess that’s the trade for having it really hold it’s harder to get off the wall?

using to hold cat scratcher to the wall, fat cat hasn't been able to pull it down
This Velcro so far adheres well to the wall I am using it on. Typical hook and loop with sticky backing. Plenty of pieces to work with, and large enough pieces to be able to cut down to size if need be. I cut the strips to the size I wanted, attached both pieces to the object to be hung, peeled the tape off, then pressed the object onto the wall. It hangs, and it hasnt budged or fallen off. Remainder of Velcro was kept stored in box and tucked away for another time. What I needed this for: I had purchased a wall scratcher for my cat. She loves to stretch up a wall, and it occurred to me that she may enjoy a good scratch when she does that. So I bought her a scratch pad that adheres to the wall via some velcro. Well, once up in place, I determined that I needed to move it. Once I did so, although there was enough sticky to reattach, it wasn't enough for it to stay in place for long. It fell. Sooo, I set about buying some velcro. I looked for a variety that claims to hold some weight. The scratcher doesnt weigh much, but I figured opting for a more heavy duty option would be better than not. SO FAR SO GOOD. She is scratching to her hearts content, and the pad is staying securely in place. YAY!

Works as designed but one ANNOYING issue
Product works as described for holding back some office curtains… Nothing special. So far, so good. My only complaint is that on the half of the Velcro that is the soft side, the plastic backing to expose the adhesive was so annoying to try and peel off. I genuinely spent about 10 minutes trying to get the backing off.

They're Not Going Anywhere
I had purchased sound-dampening foam which claimed to be self-adhesive but started falling off my wall after about two weeks. So I purchased this self-adhesive Velcro to reattach the foam pads to my wall. It did the trick! Now my foam pads aren't going anywhere and stick better than the original glue the foam came with. The only thing I wish the Velcro had was a tab to peel off the backing; it is tough to get off because of how strong the adhesive is. If you pull the Velcro apart you can cut them to size, which lets you create an eight-pack out of an original four-pack, etc. They really hold as well as they advertise. Granted, I'm using it to attach light foam pads to them but I accidentally got one of the backings stuck to my finger and it nearly hurt to peel it off my finger! So they really are strong on both the adhesive and Velcro! Great job and great value! Tip: If you're having trouble lining it up, do the following: 1. Attach the Velcro to the surface you want to put something on. 2. Stick the other piece of Velcro on it so the adhesive is now exposed. 3. Attach your equipment to the adhesive part and press until it sticks. I found this to be more effective than first attaching the Velcro to my wall, another piece to the foam and trying to line them up just right. You should do it according to the steps above since once you stick the adhesive on, it will be very difficult to get off and reattach so you pretty much have one shot at getting it right.

Great item for the apocalypse.
Have used this for many things; keeping zombie-bashing weapons on the wall beside all windows and doors, sticking two zombies back-to-back and slowly walk around them (this is much more fun with long-dead zombies, as sometimes they get their legs and feet so tangled up that they actually pop off... may seem gruesome, but hey, there's no more theater). Anyway, you'll need this, duct tape, and super glue to really get enjoyment out the apocalypse.

Finally Adhesive Velcro That STAYS
Great product. I had tried a few other brands to hold my powerbar up under my desk (get cables off your floor!) but was starting to give up thinking it must just be too heavy.... not for THESE strips! It's been up and solidly held for a month now, the adhesive really is quite exceptional on these. I highly recommend them.

Waste of Money
I needed to add these strips to a hanging door organizer I bought that came with velcro strips that did not hold very well. These were suppose to be industrial strength and they are actually worse than the lame ones that came with the organizer. They dont even stick to the door even with the support of the six strips already there. I am rather upset about this since these were expensive. Bad purchase since it does not do what they claim.

Impossible to peel, backing completely dried on to velcro.
This product was likely very old stock. The backing plastic is impossible to peel off, making every piece a frustrating experience. I didn't open the package for a year but it should last that long. REFUND request please!
