Great added look to your wall

I did some home renovation recently in my dining room, and was looking for ways to spice its look up a bit and so I started looking around for these. The local hardware store was out of them, but they had the pieces, but that's alot more work with putting them together and purchasing the individual sizes you need, then I found these. I needed 7 of them, and they all came looking great. They aren't sticky backed, I had to brad nail them. They are lightweight yet seem well made to me. They come white, so I didn't even paint them. They weren't a real chalky white and I thought they looked fine just like they came to me.

Easy to install, can't wait to paint them. They will need some caulking but no big deal. Will buy more

Easy DIY Upgrade

These wall panels were easy to install. I used liquid nails and then tapped a finishing nail into each corner. I caulked each panel for a more polished look. It was a quick and easy project that majorly updated my bedroom wall. Highly recommend!

Easy to install and once painted and caulked cant tell its not real wood!

This thing is very light weight but once installed, painted, and caulked it looks like real wood!

Perfect for a DIY!

Ordered these for our formal living room. We had zero experience with doing anything like this, so it wasn’t totally perfect. But the finished product came out honestly so nice. We’re on the west coast and thee standard walls are textured. I don’t think wainscoting looks good on textured walls, so my dad generously did skim coat the walls so that we had a nice smooth texture (the only thing we had experienced help on), and then my husband did paneling install. According to him overall it was pretty easy and quick. Be sure that all of your panels are even before you start nailing. I would love to do these in more rooms.

These are exactly what I wanted, saves time buying wood, measuring and cutting. There light weight that I can probably use command strips so I dont have to put holes in my wall.

No protection for poster

Did not like this because it had no glass or plastic covering for the poster I was framing, so I returned it

Great product

This picture frame moulding is great! I had to laugh at all the reviews about it not being an actual frame for a picture. It is clearly not. This is for your walls! This brand has been consistently great. I have purchased many of their ceiling medallions and they look amazing. It is a bit pricey for what you get. But it’s convenient. At Home Depot Canada you can’t buy this product in store anymore. Depending on the size of rectangle you need, you could make this with MDF trim for about half the price. Real wood, it’s about the same or even more for the decorative wood trims right now. You would also need a mitre saw. If you don’t have this or care to bother with making your own, this is a great product. It’s a thin composite polyurethane foam. It arrives backed on cardboard, so take real care of it or you will snap it. You can adhere it with some construction adhesive or use a few finishing nails with pre drilled holes (my nail gun would break it in a heartbeat). If you use adhesive, you should apply painters tape to hold it in place while it dries (buy the quick dry construction adhesive!). Use some caulking to finish all the edges and cover holes. And then paint with regular latex paint.

Not what i was expecting

maybe i didnt read the description properly but i was expecting a real picture frame where i can put a picture. This item is just the wood frame (no glass, you cant put a pixture in there). For the price it is pretty disappointing.
