Thicker than expected

I love the look but it is thick and I could not use for my application due to the thickness

Easy DYI

The media could not be loaded. The product itself is very good. It is foam so can dent if not handled with care. Paint adheres easily. Installation was a bit cumbersome ONLY because light fixture standard drop stem was to short to clear medallion. Since stem standard simply purchased longer one and cut to required length to drop fixture down. Ceiling a bit uneven but caulked along edges and hid all gaps. End result worth a little patience.

The new fixture had a much smaller base than the hole left by the light we removed Painted the same color as the trim around the house and looks great. Really dresses up a room. Downside was it was a bit warped and my husband had to use an electric sander to get it so there were no gaps between it and the ceiling.
