Useless

Way too thick to be of any use. I could not assemble the fan cap due to the thickness and not being able to reach the hanger bracket. A total waste of time and money. Worse than useless

Simple ceiling medallion

Bought this to cover up a crappy patch job from the previous light fixture and I didn’t want anything ornate. Perfect for what I needed.

Beautiful medallion. Works great to cover the hole left by an old fixture!

Our house was built in 1966 and has fabulous 9" square recessed fixtures. But we very much wanted a ceiling fan in our bedroom. Well, *I* did. Menopause, you know? ANYWAY...this medallion was the simplest I could find. Most were far too ornate. My handyman specified urethane, and he said this one was easy to work with. And now soft breezes blow across my bed at night.

Worked very well.

We replaced an old porch light that had a large globe. The new light had a smaller foot print. The medallion covered the old opening in the porch cover very well. This medallion was thicker and heavier duty than any of the medallions available at the local big box store and was half the price.

Great, low-cost option to cover issue in plaster

I installed this the same time as the new (hanging) light to cover issues in plaster around the box that occured when replacing the box in the ceiling. It is located in a back stairway, and 10-12 feet above the floor or stairs. I never even attached it to the ceiling. I did not caulk or paint either. It is just held in place by the light fixture, and looks great.

Pretty sketchy.

As with most of the reviews on here, my so-called "primed" paint was chipped, and flaking off. The plastic is way too smooth for whatever cheap primer they have on it. You pretty much are required to remove their janky prime job and waste your time, and buy a quality plastic paint primer and re-prime it yourself. Bleh.

Awesome

This worked out awesome. My old ceiling fan had a wide base against the ceiling and when I removed it it had not been painted underneath. This covered up the non painted area and you can’t tell at all. Easy to install and looks great.

Not 1 1/8" thick

Closer to 3/4" in thick at widest part, 1/2" thick where fixture meets the medalion.

Quality product!

We used this product in our guest bathroom to enhance the look of the French styled chandelier we put in. It looks great and we have had so many compliments! I would recommend the Elena Millwork CM12CL.

Served the purpose with style

This medallion was used to cover space on the ceiling where another fixture was located. The new fixture base is noticeably smaller in diameter so the medallion covers the area thus saving me the time of painting around a new fixture.
