For non-serious papercraft circles only, I'd say
Not sure how this has a 4 star rating, I agree with all the 2 star reviewsamd all their complaints. This is for not-serious paper crafts only. I used this to try to cut circles in corrective gel sheets (colored translucent overlay paper, basically) and the blade only cut through one circle fairly well before it was completely dull, wobbling, inaccurate, and causing the other issues described in other negative reviews. I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 2 only because I was using it on thick plastic sheetinstead of paper, but from the looks of other reviews, it doesn't handle well on regular paper either. Just pay more for a more solid machine unless you're just doing stuff for like.. Kid's crafts or something

Works OK...
I am no Giotto and can't draw a perfect circle so I needed to find something to cut a 11" circle template from a piece of paper. No reviews on this when I made the purchase but price was right so I figured I'd give it a try. Right out of the package you can tell it's not the highest quality but that was to be expected. It was easy to keep the center held in place but where I struggled was keeping the outside cutter in place even when it was "locked" at the diameter I wanted cut. No matter what approach I took in either doing just one continuous cut or small intermittent cuts. I could never seem to keep the cutter in one place and would end up with the end either being wider or narrower than what I originally started at. In the end I made it work but had to go back and fix some of the areas that didn't get cut at the right diameter. I wish there was a way to remove the blade guard so it wouldn't require as much downward force to achieve a successful cut. I feel that would help by not loosening up the blade lock and achieve a better cut.

Great idea but faulty parts...
The idea to be able to cut a circle onto anything cuttable using a rotary blade is great without having a small pin hole where the center is. But the fact that you can cut a perfect circle with how it came, don't expect it to. I noticed after i tried to cut a circle even after twisting the lock in place slider for the blade and then attempted on a test cut, the lock didn't work like it should have and instead got loose and started to walk one way or the other causing me to create a spiral like thing instead of the circle. But then i realized that i needed to twist the thing much more harder. I thought it would break if i had twisted it as tight as i needed it to. But apparently the plastic isn't made with cheap ingredients. So that part was my own fault. But then when i tried to test it again. I found something that was wrong with the cutting blade holder itself. The blade bolt and nut are fine and the 2 thin washer's are fine as well only if you like to have a slightly wobbly looking circle. The blade has too much play between the washer's and space between the split where the blade slide into. So i had to fashion my own type of washer's to have the blade roll without wobbling side to side while i spun the handle to cut myself a supposed perfect circle. Other then how the blade's functionality was made, all in all the item works for general arts and crafts. But for some people who might have some sort of OCD because the tools purchased are not of quality design then i guess that would be my own fault thinking quality tools should be quality. But meh... nothing is made with quality anymore. Especially like they did 25 - 50 years ago. Everything is made with quality thoughts and ideas, but the parts and functionality of them are starting to become poor. Even the QA or QC sticker's are non-existing to things now-a-days.

too big
cannot cut circles small enough with this tool, so actually fairly useless for me, I should have read the fine print

Did not work for my needs
Awful product for my use. The plastic gives too much when you're trying to make a circle. I was using it on paper thin leather. Had to go over it multiple times and it would cut different spaces. Had to return it.

Not worth any amount of money
Only gave it one star because I had to submit a review. This product is worth absolutely no stars. Terrible product. It fell apart the first time I used it and it took 20 minutes to get it back together because it is not made for easy replacement of the blade. It does not make perfect circles despite it's claims. The instructions say to press down gently to make your circle, however with gentle pressure you can not cut a clean circle out of cardstock paper. When using it on regular paper and gentle pressure it cuts through, however the paper moves underneath, crinkling, and therefore you will not get a perfect circle. I spent 30 minutes using the product and at the end only resulted in 1 Circle I would consider useful for the purpose I bought it. I purchased it to make tools in my classroom such as clocks and fractions and a non-perfect circle for fractions is just not usable. I would say buyer beware this is not the product for you. Try and find something else. I wish I had my $27 back.
