Nice light but not as shiny gold as the photo; otherwise looks nice & works well.

As far as lights go it was easy to assemble and install. I gave it 4 stars as the gold finish is more flat than shiny as it looks in the photos and I am tempted to repaint the entire light so it matches better with my other bathroom fixtures. Also, I had to replace the screws that are used to attached the fixture to the mounting plate as the ones provided are 1/4" too long so unless you're installing this in a double sized electrical box and can add nuts to shorten the screw protrusion you'll likely face the same issue I did. The cover itself is 1/2" and the knobs to secure it are 1/4" deep but the screw is 1" so you'll never get it set flush against the wall otherwise. One added note: the glass is held in place by the gold trim piece that covers the ceramic bulb socket which would allow you to hang the fixture upside down if you prefer. This means you need to reach into the glass to install the bulb which is not a big deal from underneath but it's definitely cramped quarters as it sits close to the ceiling when installed above the mirror in a bathroom. I have a big hand and it worked but I wore gloves as I would have brushed the glass with the top of my hand reaching inside and would have had to clean the glass and by design that's difficult to manage. All in all, a decent bang for the buck and it looks attractive.

Nice light and easy to install

This is a nice light, a bit light in the materials though, including the glass. At least it wasn't too heavy. The gold finish is what is shown, but more of a painted finish-not gold metal. I like it with the old fashioned LED bulbs- all clear glass bulbs.
