It's alright for the most part
It does do what the product description says...but in some ways your satisfaction will be entirely dependent on whether or not you can stand the app. By itself, the device has push-button on/off functionality for each output, and that's it. The app is...ok? It's functional. Range is decent with bluetooth, at least with my phone. Maybe 10 meters. I've been using it for a few days, but I've recently discovered that it's once again leaking at where it joins my outside spigot (the splitter input). It comes with a steel mesh insert/washer combo. I'm not sure if that's why it's not sealing well or not. The connector has a soft rubber covering around it to help tighten it onto your spigot, but the rubber itself is not attached (melted/glued/whatever) to the metal connector, so eventually the metal bit gets to a certain tightness and the rubber just spins around it. If you pinch hard you can torque it further, but even if it doesn't leak on installation, at least in my case it started leaking after several cycles of the valves. Guessing the varying pressure or temperature? I just can't trust it with the water on...so I'll just turn the water on when I'm ready and cycle the valves via the app and then turn the water completely off when I'm done so it doesn't keep spewing everywhere. In this state, it's barely better than just having a brass 4-way splitter in my opinion, unfortunately. Thinking I'll rip that rubber grip off that connector and replace the mesh basket insert they have in there with a standard hose washer and see if that improves things. UPDATE: I discovered that the issues I was experiencing was both with the design of the 4-way manifold as well as my home itself. 1) I have a vacuum breaker that features a plastic stopper with a spring that pushes back against the opening to prevent backflow except when the water is on. This was damaging the mesh basket that was pre-installed on the Eden timer. Replacing the mesh basket with a standard hose ring rubber washer fixed my leaks there. 2) The valves on this manifold close hard, guaranteeing backflow/water hammer effect. The vacuum breaker did not like this and the spring (that I previously mentioned) wasn't strong enough (yes, I tested this with other items, i.e. sprinklers, etc...no issues with that). Adding a small patch hose between the spigot and the inlet on the Eden timer addressed both the excessive backflow and some other leakage. With these changes, it looks like an Cthulu-esque abomination as installed, but now everything works without issue. So I suppose now my main complaint is of the control app not being the greatest (but still functional). Wishlist: a great desire for the ability to adjust how hard the valves actuate (ex. change from a factor of 1 to 0.6 to make it open/close 40% slower...or potentially to control their position as well, ex. only open valve 3 60%.

timer works fairly decently, moisture sensors do not. This timer is not "Smart" (see below for why)
I bought this to use with the Soil Moisture sensors which are total garbage, ( see my detailed review on the Amazon Coop store's moisture sensor to see why.) Honestly, I didn't have much negative to say about the hose bib timer itself; it connected every time when in range, and it always functioned properly when not connected to the soil sensors. However, the fact that you needed to be within 30 ft of it when outside, or right next to the outside wall when in, begs the question, " why is this 'smart' and what's the purpose of it being BT"? First, "smart" devices are typically able to connect to the "Internet of things", a web of intercommunicating devices and services that can send and receive info and commands from each other, i.e. I can tell Alexa "lets watch a movie", she turns the TV and audio receiver on, dims the lights, and turns my phone to mute. I could also say " It's time for bed", Alexa may turn off the lights, turn on fan, lock the front door, and arm the security system. This timer, in contrast, can only connect, via Bluetooth, to it's app on your phone. It does not connect to any other than it's own sensors and app; it cannot be controlled by any other smart devices, services, or intercommunicate within an "internet of things". That doesn't make it a smart device, it makes it a Bluetooth device. Plus, the app it's self has no "Smart" features; it can't delay watering because it can pull up the weather and see it's raining or water more frequently because it is hot and dry, nor can you set it for any watering setting based on location, the plants type or species being watered (tree vs lawn, vs landscape), drip irrigation vs sprinkler, so on. It literally is a frequency and duration timer just like every one you buy in the store that has buttons on it. The ONLY difference is that you can control it with your phone- but it functions the EXACT, SAME, WAY. Save your money. Lastly, the range I was getting on this was less that 30-40 ft direct line of sight ( less if ANYTHING was blocking the signal) and through walls it was less than 10-12 ft. To use in my house, Id have to stand right next to the exterior wall of my house. There is no remote access, meaning you can't control it while not within this range and definitely not while away from home. Unless the hose bib timer is hidden, or hard to reach, since you have to get so close to operate it anyhow, there is little benefit to having a Bluetooth controlled timer. Plus, since you typically set it and forget it, how often are your really accessing it? Save yourself money and buy a multiport digital hose bib timer and at any big box store.

needs better instruction with product
I have been waiting for a few years for a bluetooth product that has capabilities of multiple sprinklers. I was very excited to find this one. Once set up it works well. There are two issues. The directions that come with the kit are very unclear. I had to have my friend figure it out and set it up, which took a couple of hours. Since he has left, I cannot figure out how to change watering times and durations. One of the sprinklers cut itself down from twice a day to once a day. I have gone into my phone to change it, but I cannot find the option no matter what I try. The other issue is when you get more than 20 feet from the location of the product, you cannot pull it up on your phone. You have to be standing within a few feet to see and or change times. Other than that, I do like the product. It has everything but the one valve going off like clockwork. I just wish it was easier to change both duration and number of waters per day per valve and that complete written instructions were sent with the product.

Bluetooth keeps disconnecting. You have to be within 5 ft of the unit to connect. Not reliable.

A blatant attempt to invade your privacy..
Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! To use this item, the customer is supposed to install an app on their phone. To run, the app must have access to the memory contents on your phone. It also tries to get access to your location. Then it demands a phone number. I don't own any other bluetooth device that requires all this information. I paid over a hundred bucks and then it wants to steal my personal data too! At this point in the summer, I am getting desperate for a irrigation-timer but I am still sending this item back!
