Think they’re keepers

I’ve wanted a pair of waterproof gore tex sneakers for winter travel with black bottoms, found them! My feet are medium width and after reading the reviews on these, I thought they’d be too narrow, but even with my horrible feet, bunions and all, I these feel like they’ll work out. I did have to loosen the laces and feel they did need some break in time for me but I’ve wore them on the carpet a few times and hope they’re keepers. Nice looking sneaker, not as clunky as my usual Fitflops sneakers, which I love, and the gore tex lining is a plus. Only downside and reason for 4 stars instead of five, the support is good but I wish they had a bit more cushion under the ball of my foot.

Great waterproof shoe!!

Bought these for travel to Ireland because I want/need waterproof shoes. I've had this style Ecco in metallic gray for a few years which are my go-to travel, comfort shoes but they aren't waterproof so I ordered these. Price is right and look good even though they are all black. I WOULD LOVE THESE IN METALLIC SO THEY WOULD BE A BIT MORE FASHIONABLE!! But the black does make my size 10 foot look smaller!! That's a plus!!

Fits perfectly but still manages to give pain

I bought these to attempt to replace my last pair of absolutely perfect, beloved Ecco Chase (the original-- yes, I stocked up on them when they got replaced by Chase ii). I have tried the Chase ii but did not like the way the insoles fit anymore, and this pair of Soft 7 insoled seemed good... until I tried to walk in it. Just like one of the other reviewers said, the shoe digs at the top where foot bends, right under the big toe, around where the little stitch sits under the lace hole. Walking a few steps around the house and observing how to shoe bends was enough to realize this will not be resolved at all -- my feet already feel rubbed raw, so they will be returned.

The most amazing Shoe

If you are on your feet all day long - you need to own this shoe! What an amazing quality, fit, and product overall. I’m thinking of ordering another pair just in case they ever get discontinued.

Odd fit

Good support, I have very narrow feet and these are snug across the toes, am hoping they stretch and the heel moves up and down when I wear them

Not true to size 2 sizes too small

They charged me a restocking fee, when I couldn't put it on to try on, this is a very sad way to do business, I have several Clark shoes and they all fit perfectly, this is why I ordered this shoe.

Excellent quality but longer laces please

These are strong, waterproof, comfortable leather shoes with soles flexible enough to drive in. My only complaint is that I had to purchase longer laces. When they arrive tightly laced there appears to be enough lace left to tie, but not when they are more loosely and comfortably laced across my (only very slightly wide) feet!

So uncomfortable

For the price paid you’d expect these to be very comfy. But they are not. In fact they are very very very uncomfortable. I have so many Ecco shoes as I am a diabetic and they are very good for my feet but these ones are not. In fact I am not even sure they are genuine.

A little pricey, but heaven for feet

They are a true to size fit and are just sooooo comfortable, feel like heaven on your feet. Expensive but worth it.
