Nice color and very soft.

I haven't worn this yet, but I have a couple of trips coming up. I was attracted to it because it is a neutral color and soft fabric that I am planning on wearing underneath clothing. It is soft and I am looking forward to wearing it.

Not really the same picture as advertized

I specifically was looking for a beige colored money wallet with one zipper because I can't use a 2nd zippered pocket that small. But the Mocha colored picture was not a good representation of the color and the actual money belt. There are two zippers on this one. The other pictures show two zippers, but this one shows just one on the amazon page. It also, doesn't look like the mocha color I got. I thought it was a different color and didn't read the information.

One of the best purchases you can make. I bought this based on reviews and advice from friends about pick-pocketing in Italy. This is VERY light weight, constructed of good fabric. The waist clip is strong, and the zipper is of good quality. There are 2 pockets inside the zipper to separate out your passport with other currency. I put 4 passports, 1 credit card + some cash in the pouch and it fits snugly. I wrapped it around my waist on top of my inner T and tucked it under my outer shirt. It is not totally invisible as some other commented out, but it is not obvious - people may think that you are just now developing a paunch - a slight bulge. I had it on my for 8 days straight, from 8 AM till 11 PM and it became part of my body - after a few minutes of use, I had to check once in a while if I had it because it was so comfortable to use and you would not notice its presence. You can also push it down a bit into your pants and use the trouser to provide additional coverage at busier places. I was in Italy in August, and I was dripping sweat all the time, but this baby (yes - my wife started calling it my baby because I got so attached to it) stayed dry. It was very comfortable to sit with it. When I bought it, my wife did not like the idea of a waist pouch and wanted a neck pouch which I bought from Amazon - one day I tried it and that did not feel as comfortable as this, nor was it as concealed as this. I got so used to it that I refused to remove it while in Switzerland, a much more safer place than Italy, and used it to put my passports on my flight back to US. I threw it in the washer after I came home, and it came out clean. I am seriously giving up my wallet for this for daily use. I strongly recommend this for everyone going to places that are known to have pick-pocketers. I am going to use it on all my trips - even to the safest of places mainly because of the convenience. And I will order one more just in case this finally breaks. Finally, as a side note, in spite of what everyone told and wrote about Italy having pick-pocketers, we did NOT experience anything like that. We were always aware of our surroundings, but we did not feel even once the threat of someone stealing from us. Maybe times have changed, or we were lucky.

Great product.

Very comfortable, even on hot days. Easy to access. Very good quality. My wife and I both bought these and used them every day on a month long trip. Still looks like new.

HIgh-quality and Comfortable Product!

I was looking for a comfortable money belt that my teen daughter would agree to use on her upcoming trip to Italy. She is not excited about the idea of using a money belt because she says it looks like a fanny pack. We first ordered another kind which had to be sent back because it was uncomfortable on both of us. A friend mentioned having a silk money belt and I found this one and ordered it. She is still skeptical about why she needs a money belt at all, but thinks the black color is much better and you don't even notice it when it's on. I think this belt is great. It's lightweight and soft, but sturdy. It doesn't feel big, but I can fit a passport (inside a sleeve) in it and an iphone 6 and it doesn't bother me at all. I feel like you could wear it either under a shirt or jacket (and not access it during the day but keep it hidden) or use it over your clothes. It's not "stylish" per se, but it's pretty nice-looking, high-quality material and good buckle and zippers. I even put it on where the most of the belt was tucked inside the top of my pants (sounds weird, I know) and it was quite comfortable. I am ordering a second one for my other teen daughter to use on a family trip to England and France in the fall. It's pricey, but I think it's worth it. I can't imagine that there is a better money belt out there.

A little peace of mind for my honeymoon.

My wife and I went to Spain for our honeymoon last summer. We spent time between Barcelona, Denia, and Valencia. I wanted to spend my time enjoying myself, not worrying about my belongings. I am not generally one to believe that the world is out to get me, but in this case I took some extra precautions. I thinned out the contents of my wallet before we left, so I carried my passport, 1 credit card, 1 debit card, some cash, emergency contact information, and a key to a Pacsafe in the money belt throughout the week. I wore shorts and a t-shirt for the better part of my time there and often forgot that I was wearing it. It's relatively thin and was not noticeable. The silk is comfortable against the skin. It got a little warm at times, but that was a minor inconvenience all things considered. The strap is adjustable. I tended to wear it a bit low so most of it was below my pant line. Not the easiest thing to access under those circumstances, especially when trying to be discrete, so I often waited until I was in a bathroom stall or seated at a table. Carried a dummy wallet in my back pocket with a few bucks in it. Probably total overkill, but we had an amazing time, I had peace of mind, and everything made it home safely.

USE CAUTION... TEST FIRST

EXCELLENT PRODUCT you will panic frequently if you have passport and money in it because it is virtually impossible to feel. Wonderfully comfortable for an extended trip around hot and humid countrys. Took this around Asia. HOWEVER I tested this around the house for three weeks with my travel money and passport. THE outer edging came away. Nomad was made aware and refunded me just enough money for me to have it professionally restitched. After repair it was 100%. Thanks Cust.Svc. :) PROS: light - strong - silk - elasticated waist band fits all - flat & minimal but ultimately strong plastic clasp - washable - good supplier. CONS: finishing trim is the weakest link and may need reinforcing by sewing service or your own machine. SUMMARY: A must for traveling well worth the £30 price-tag if Eagle Creek finishes the edging trim properly. So comfortable I even wore this in bed as well as when traveling...

Good for traveling

Used for traveling across a developing country, after a couple of weeks the zips started sticking - which is less than desirable in some situations. The pockets held a good wad of bank notes, and at times also my passport and phone, which did stretch its limits. It was comfortable and lightweight, it was sweaty - but so was everything else, so couldn’t be helped. It does need a good clean now, I would probably use it again, if I can lubricate the zips. I wouldn’t say this was an outstanding product, but it did the job well.

Does what it says on the tin

Yep it's expensive and u can get cheaper ones but if your going on a long trip to a hot country where you need to keep your money safe, if your an intrepid traveller going off the usual tourist routes this is an essential if your going somewhere less earth shattering but lovely anyway and you want a comfortable easy safe way to carry your valuables this is it. Bonus point it's well made and should last a lifetime.

Nice and light but it would be even better if the adjustable belt could go even smaller - for the more petite women like me with a smaller waist, it sits a bit near to the hip rather than stomach, so under some clothing is likely to be more visible. Comfortable material on skin even when in warm climates.
