Really good for small bugs
I got the item for my inside plant room to gets the gnats and moths. It works wonderful for the gnats not so much the moths. Although it’s a great product there’s plenty of cheaper items that’ll get the gnats just as well.

A strong ally in the battle against drain gnats
While fighting a pesky drain gnat / drain fly infestation a few months ago, I had already set out glasses of a apple cider vinegar/water/dish soap solution (covered with punctured cling wrap) near all of our main drains. While they were catching and drowning their fair share of flies, I ordered these reinforcements to completely end the infestation as quickly as possible! In order, I purchased: 1. Harris Fruit Fly Drain Treatment Gel (0.5/5) 2. Protecker Fruit Fly Traps (1/5) 3. AllRoad Window Fly Traps (4/5) 4. Dynatrap DT3019-1003P Flylight (5/5) In the hopes of helping those combating a similar infestation decide what to purchase, I will post this complete review+pictures on each product page, with the reviews listed as numbered above. 1. Harris Fruit Fly Drain Treatment Gel (0.5/5): This was my first purchase, and second most-expensive only to the Dynatrap light. Now, it's possible that it may 'suffocate' the eggs/larvae in drains, but given its relatively-thin viscosity, I kind of doubt even this (especially if used in drains that will be utilized at all during the treatment period instead of sealed over with cling wrap.) I can say that (other than the aforementioned homemade traps,) I was using this for about a week before getting the other solutions, and noticed no significant effect. As an experiment, I even set out a small cup of the gel, and flies flew into and drowned in it... Then I left the container itself open by my bathroom sink, and the flies just saw another drain to fly into (see picture!) The only reason this even warrants half of a star, in my experience, is that it does smell pleasant. 2. Protecker Fruit Fly Traps (1/5, not pictured): I ordered the set of 2. These are literally just cuter, less-stabile versions of the homemade traps I had already set out. They do come with a small vial of what I assume is apple cider vinegar, but certainly not enough to add a substantial amount to the traps, so I just made the normal solution and then distributed the vial contents. I was hoping that the addition of adhesive 'traps' above the liquid trap would catch passersby, but this hope was in vain-- neither adhesive trap caught a single fly! And, compared with their homemade counterparts, these did not catch nearly as many flies (I assume the built-in holes are bored too widely, so the flies could check the liquid out, then easily escape.) I made the mistake of setting one on a ledge in a high-traffic area, and- being the kind of neurodivergent klutz who often bumps into things as I pass by- knocked it over a couple of times, causing it to pop open at the 'seam' and spill the vinegar solution, creating a stinky mess. I don't fault the product for this, but it's worth noting as a possible drawback if you are also cluttered'n'klutzy. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures before throwing both away as soon as the infestation was over with, but between the two I'd say they caught 10 flies maximum- none on the stickers- so there's not much to show, anyway. 3. AllRoad Window Fly Traps (4/5): I received these soon after receiving the Protecker traps, and while the Protecker traps had yet to catch a single fly, these window traps caught several within a couple of hours of installing them on my bathroom window. If you're on a budget and find yourself in this gnat-sy predictament, or if you just want multiple lines of defense like me, these are the way to go. The one drawback is that the 'window cling' line of adhesive is just as strong as the trap side-- and it is *strong.* Removing them did leave adhesive residue on my window, however I did leave them there for a couple of months beyond what was necessary, and a more-conscientious person removing them after a shorter time span may find this to be a non-issue. I'm sure Goo-Gone will take care of it... I'll get around to trying, eventually. 4. Dynatrap DT3019-1003P Flylight (5/5): Sure, this is the most pricey solution, but it gets a perfect rating for a few reasons: it is extremely effective, it has no reasonable drawbacks, and it is a device I'll be able to use beyond the infestation I got it for (can't wait 'til porch-sitting weather rolls back around to see how mosquitoes fare against it!) Installation was a snap, and within seconds of plugging it in, I watched a gnat fly right into the adhesive trap. I'm generally a bleeding heart-level animal lover (I even take the odd stinkbug/cricket/spider I find in my house outside and get sad when others smoosh them!) but let me tell you, seeing that gnat fly to its doom filled me with GLEE. In conclusion, I'd totally avoid the first two products unless you're just interested in conducting your own experiment. Instead, I'd recommend making a few homemade traps, and supplementing them with the window stickers and/or Dynatrap light. (Search for a 'recipe' online for the best ratio of water:vinegar:soap in the homemade traps, and don't forget to top them with carefully-punctured cling wrap; this will ensure more flies drown than escape.)

Better Review, Updated
Initially I had this at two stars, but apparently I had to give it some time. Fungus gnat issue because my apartment complex won’t fix my leaking roof, so now the wall has developed fungus gnats. As soon as I can afford another one of these I will purchase another!

Far more effective than the fan type of trap for NoSeeUms
Just moved to NC and encountered NoSeeUms for the first time. I had never heard of them before, didn’t know what the hell was biting me and was going crazy. I tried bug bombing the house (worked for about three days), spraying door and window border insecticide everywhere (did nothing), put out fruit fly traps (somewhat effective at attracting more bugs into the house), wore 40% DEET repellent (that would help for about an hour and a half at a time but it’s really bad for you), got a bunch of diffusers and put eucalyptus oil in them (turns out it’s a myth that bugs hate eucalyptus… they don’t care. I can’t stand it though) and bought one of those Ketchum traps with the UV light/fan that’s supposed to attract and suck up flying bugs. Nothing was working. While the Ketchum was almost completely ineffective it did catch like 4 or 5 NoSeeUms over a week which (other than being covered in welts and pretty sure I was catching a glimpse of a flying tiny black dot shooting past out of the corner of my eye every now and then) is how I knew for sure what was biting me. I have to give it credit for that. Until then I thought the place had bed bugs or something and was losing my mind. My father swore I was having an allergic reaction to something and WAS going crazy until I sent him a picture of what I had caught with the Ketchum. I had to use a macro shot to really get a look at them and figure out what they were. They don’t call them NoSeeUms for nothing, way too small and fast for the naked eye. Without much hope I decided to try one of these Dyantraps but by the next day there were around a dozen of those little bastards stuck to it. It didn’t fix the problem but it helped greatly so I ended up getting one for every room, turning off all the other lights in the house right before dusk, leaving them off for a few hours after dark and after a few days they were gone! They still frequently get inside the house and I might get a bitten once or twice now and again but it doesn’t take long before they get lured in and stuck to the trap. It’s definitely way more effective at night but still attracts bugs during the day. Overall the Dynatrap works really well! Don’t bother with the Ketchum type of trap, same idea but over engineered, more expensive and doesn’t really work. Note: -You do have to change the sticky pads about once a month. They’ll still feel tacky but can’t actually trap anything after a few weeks. -The blue light it gives off isn’t pleasant, it’s like the blue fluorescent lights bodegas and gas stations in seedy areas install in their bathrooms. Thankfully it’s hardly noticeable during the day or when other lights are on at night. Unfortunately the trap does it’s job best when it’s the only light source. -If you plug one in near a window you’ll more than likely end up with a lot of spiders and webs outside the window. Apparently North Carolina has a helluva lot more spiders than up north and that light attracts bugs like nothing else so if you’re in a warmer climate it pretty much works as a spider buffet. I also had a bat slam into the glass one night. I’m assuming it was trying to enjoy an easy dinner. I’m not a fan of spiders but as long as they stay outside and I’m not getting eaten alive by those invisible little flying devil insects inside, I don’t care (I do feel kinda bad about the bat though, just saying…).

It Works
Having two kids that like to hold the back door open for extended periods of times it was no wonder we found ourselves with a huge fly problem. While it took a couple of days, this product has significantly decreased the massive fly annoyance that existed within the house. We placed 3 in the main problem areas and have noticed a considerable decrease. We know it's working because the sticky trap was covered in flies and other tiny flying insects that we haven't even been noticing. While it didn't catch 100% of them (not sure if there is any trap that could) it has definitely served its purpose and I do recommend giving it a try. The nice thing is that these can plug into basically anywhere with a working electrical outlet and they aren't even an eye sore since they are intended to be decorative. They put off no odor and don't use any bait or harmful chemicals. The only maintenance is the occasional sticky pad swap - which is easy enough to do. The black light is subtle but works. The bonus is that they help illuminate during lights out to help navigate in the dark without being blinding.

Zero star, worst product
I would like to give this product as zero star, I've buy this product because many of the people have posted good reviews but the reality is this is this product is completely worst. I was in the room where too much mosquitos were there but this product doesn't even capture / kill a single mosquito. Hate this product...

Useless product
It doesn't even catch a single mosquito. I have tried leaving it running 2 days and 3 nights and tried shifting in different areas of the room. Have to return since its useless.
