Update on my prior negative review
Pay attention to the clasp/fastener when it arrives. I wrote a negative review due to the fact that the clasp would not fasten securely when I first used it.Now I am revising that review to a positive. At first, I had to fasten with a baby diaper pin (there's not enough leeway fabric to make a knot.) Well imagine my surprise when, later that evening I was unpacking the belt. I removed the pin and tried the clasp again. This time it held! My opinion: The plastic for some reason expanded so the clasp held. So I upped my rating to a four. It would be a five, but for the way the clasp may or may not be faulty. It just might break away if it was tugged at. I certainly don't trust it 100% due to this possible defect, but overall it is very well designed, well sewn, good sized pockets, and claims to have data blocking material that will prevent thieves from scanning your credit cards (this can happen while you are walking past someone with the scanner tech, and even at check out registers - happened to my son, I do not understand how they do it, but it happens.) In any case I think it is a good item at a good price. But I will still use a diaper pin, just to have that extra security. I think from the photo you can see that the clasp itself is sewn onto the belt very tight, lots of stitching.

Awesome
Light weight and big enough to carry multiple passports and other valuables. Small and thin enough to wear under clothing. Exactly what I need to travel overseas with my kids.

Men's and Women's RFID Blocking Money Belt
Amazon's item description in this review is incorrect. These are for both men and women. One size fits all. We bought two new ones to have as spares. We have had the original ones for 10+ years. The elastic strap eventually stretches. The straps can be replaced with elastic ribbon material from a fabric store. We have never had a problem with the plastic snaps on the old ones. We use these for anything you don't immediately need like currency, tickets, credit cards, hotel reservations, etc. Anything we need in a hurry, like passports, money, credit cards, tickets, boarding passes, go in an RFID blocking neck pouch. The new ones measure slightly larger than 5 x 11 inches. But then we have washed the original ones so many times they have shrunk slightly. You cannot go through US and European airport security with these on your body. The RFID-blocking material will set off the magnetometers and they are fully visible to full-body X-ray backscatter devices. (I got scolded at EWR for having a single mint Life Saver in my shirt pocket. We take the belts off before security screening and place them into a large ziplock food storage bag placed in our under-the-seat bags. We put them back on after screening.

Good size, clasp is difficult
Size is perfect. Fits well under my clothes, comfortable and barely there. Fits a passport, a phone, and money which is what i need. Only downside is the clasp is VERY difficult to undo - I almost sent it back because I couldn't get it undone, but then i discovered if i use my thumb nail right at the clasp edge, it will pop open. The waist band is stretchy, and the extra after adjusting size (i have about a 33 inch waist) gets in the way, but i plan to trim that off and sew it down at the right length, so not a big deal.

Comfortable, practical, and light weight
Nice material, ample space for a big phone, passport, cash, even my ear-pods! So why the 4 star review? The belt is on the "long" side. It practically wraps around my waist 1.5 times. I wish there was a practical way of shortening it. Yes, there is a loop but it was pretty much sitting in the middle of my back to avoid it dangling. Also, the belt is thin: makes me wonder if it is for someone to cut it easily :(

Zipper Failed!!
I originally liked this item quite a bit—it was spacious for its type, well proportioned, with durable fabric. I'm a longtime customer of Lewis N. Clark and have generally appreciated the quality of their merchandise. But this time, within just a few months (and only occasional use), the main zipper failed! Very disappointing!! (And I'm a person who tends to use this kind of waist pack, from other manufacturers, for years + years, if not decades.... to the point that the fabric eventually wears out... but the zipper is still good. Obviously not in this case here.) Btw, the buckle closure was also a little flimsy, but I was able to adjust it so it stayed closed. Anyway, I just wish I had a way of reaching Lewis N. Clark directly to see if they'd provide a replacement!

Works great for traveling
This pouch works great. I take it with me when I travel and it makes me feel better to have my money and valuables concealed for pick-pockets.

Comfortable Fanny Pack
This fanny pack definitely held more items than I originally thought possible and was surprisingly comfortable. I am only rating it a 4 star because I feel like it could have had a more attractive design, very functional though.

Zipper busted on my first trip, not happy
Everything seemed great when I got it and tested it out. But while using it during my first few days of travel, one of the main zippers busted and I couldn't repair it. I was handling it too roughly, just normal use. But one time when I unzipped it, it disconnected. Just needs stronger zippers and it would be perfect.
