Comfortable, the most i've ever used.
(Translated from spanish using Google Translator) I need to go dressed for work. I've always had difficulty finding a suitable dress shoe that was wide especially the comfortable enough to carry all day without the night with pain in the foot or on deck. This shoe has met all my expectations. I bought the last available wider (6E) and nothing else saw calzármelo and never had a shoe as comfortable (and that taking into account that in Spain bought the last wider than was found (14)). The foot came easily without having to open the shoelaces to the fullest. Once footwear, the foot stays securely and comfortable at the same time. It also holds heat well and insulates from the cold ground (now in winter is much appreciated). Finally, a shoe is not waterproof type "goretex". It has a treatment that prevents the droplets from the ground (when wet) heating, but if it rains hard or step on a puddle just getting wet after a while like everyone else. As only downside is that it does not sweat very well. With other leather-soled shoes perspiration had never been a problem but with this I need extra care. NOTE: When ordering size, applied for 0.5 more than I indicated normal tables (use a 43 (Europe) and asked for a 10.5 (U.S.). The size requested is perfect for me.

Long lasting: last pair lasted 10 years with every day wear, low lustre finish requires polishing.
HI folks. These are solid work shoes and last forever. At this price point shoe makers are not putting a high gloss finish on them. You have to keep them polished for them to look complete. I am wearing the brown version, and it is a beautiful medium brown. However, because the open leather sucks up the polish, you MUST use the light brown Kiwi polish/wax color to preserve the medium brown as they arrive. Using "brown" kiwi, will significantly darken them to a very dark brown. OK, if that is what you want. but to preserve what you see, the very light brown (looks like "camel" color in the tin.) I have narrow feet, low instep and flat feet, very difficult to buy shoes that fit. I also wanted shoes that have a relatively smooth bottom, so they do not pick up mud and dirt and carry it into the house. These are relatively smooth on the bottom, but enough texture to grip adequately. The relatively low instep (low support) in the show works for my flat narrow feet. The insoles are removable, so you can replace with an insole that gives you a greater arch if so needed. I paid $80 for these ten years ago, and got my size and width at what had to have been a closeout. Would have probably paid $100 or more knowing how long they last. Thanks Dunham!

I'm a little concerned that they may not be waterproof anymore but I haven't tested that (just looks like the seam may not be totally solid anymore)
I got these back in 2016 and I was just looking for a new pair when I realized I haven't reviewed them. Honestly I've beaten the heck out of these, walked probably hundreds of collective miles in them, and live in a wet, rainy, humid city. I've worn them across dirt and concrete, asphalt, marble and carpet, in the sun and the rain. I have two pairs, one in black and one in brown, and they're my daily go-to. I don't polish them as often as I should and I oil them a few times a year, so minimal maintenance. They're bulletproof. I'm a little concerned that they may not be waterproof anymore but I haven't tested that (just looks like the seam may not be totally solid anymore). The tread on the bottom still looks basically like new and no matter how badly I beat up on them they polish right back up to a very presentable look. All the stitching is intact. In fact, even the original laces are still holding up. I can wear them with anything short of a suit and they look great for a combination of utilitarian and style. I'll definitely get another two pairs, if I ever need them.

Most comfortable business casual sg
These shoes have provided incredible support each time I have bought them. Plenty of room in the toe box and feels firm and comfortable even as I overpronate when I walk. Looks like they may be discontinued by Dunham as I don't see them on Dunham's website anymore.

A definite WOW
As someone who lives on a tropical island where I routinely am either barefoot or wearing sandals, the thought of shoes (and socks) is troubling. But sometimes circumstances (like going to the mainland or to any northerly locale) requires something more in footwear. What I then want is a single pair of comfortable, well-constructed shoes which provide good support, excellent traction, and use in any weather. Having pushed a prior pair of such shoes to their limit over a decade, the time arrived to find a new pair. After much search (and review reviewing), I settled on the Dunham Burlingtons with both anticipation and anxiety. Would they fit the bill (and the feet) or would this be another disappointment? Right out of the box I put them and spent a day in them - WOW - felt like old comfy friends! None of the usual sore or raw spots I associate with new shoes. The sizing was spot on. Now, don't get me wrong. I still prefer the barefoot style, but when/if I need to brave the streets of Boston, London, or Paris, or the rougher terrain of Iceland or Loire Valley and Adirondack walking trails (all on my calendar for this year) I know I am all set no matter what the weather.

Quality shoe for a respectable price
I originally ordered a size 19, which is the size of all my other shoes. However they came in way to big. After a quick no hassle exchange I ordered a couple sizes down to a 17. They just came in today, and they seem like they're going to be just fine. Shoe seems to be respectably well made, no lack of shine like suggested in some other reviews. If anything changes, I will update this review.

Good shoe
Nice shoe, the finish is a bit bit dull, need to be shined. Overall well built and accommodates my orthotics nicely.

Best shoes for orthotics
Little snug at first - second pair - once broke in, beautiful. Most shoes I wear get uneven soles but not these
